Wandering Creek Golf Course

Driving through IA, saw this course listed. Wife and I are getting into the game so was perfect for us. Lots of open holes. Staff was very friendly with tips from locals at the bar. Little pricey for a nine hole course but course in very good shape. Nice day in Sept and had a good time. Will be back next time driving through IA!!

Fun 9 hole course, arguably overpriced. Poor quality of a course, they should charge way less to pay 18 holes with a cart. You can pay the same price to play a higher quality course like the Legion or pay more to play Elmwood. Won’t golf here again until they charge $35 for 18 holes W/ cart.

Played in their simulator today. Had a great time. The renovation of the clubhouse is looking really good. Katie did a nice job setting us up. I appreciate being able to still golf with my Dad on his birthday even though the weather wasn't very good. Thank you. We'll be back.

Golfing in the summer is a blast, with the new indoor simulator it will be hard to save money. I urge everyone to try the simulator at least once, it's pretty cool and brand new. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of choices for beverages and snacks. I'm always looking forward to getting back out!

The course was nice and the carts were clean. Would have been better if the groundsman didn’t feel the need to babysit us during our outing. He finally left us alone after the 3rd hole.

FIRE LORI Tonight I went with my buddy to play and get the sunset special. The worst experience I’ve ever had at Wandering Creek. I grew up at the course, played and enjoyed every minute of it. The hospitality was always great. However, tonight was different. My friend and I got to the course around 6. Went in to pay, and right away the atmosphere was terrible. For those who aren’t knowledgeable about the sunset special. After 4 o’clock pm till sundown or close. Close for example would be 9pm. It should say on website and at the course itself. So when I go at 6 pm I’m expecting to play till 9p…

I've had so much fun coming to wandering creek. The staff is great. I've had such a wonderful experience when Laurie's working, her customer service is second to none. I plan on coming back very soon.

It's a nice course for any golfer. It is in pretty good shape for this time of year and the greens are fair. The young lady in the clubhouse was especially pleasant. Try it out if you get the chance.

This is a very nice course that is always very fun to play!

Didn’t appreciate how we were treated at this course. Nobody else was playing and we got talked to for slowing up play which is a little weird... not sprayed well and holes weren’t cut so they seemed small. Don’t recommend this course.

Fantastic simulators. Great environment, and lots of fun!

A great place to enjoy a round of golf. Very competitive pricing were you can walk or rent a cart.
