In summary

Warren County Armco Park Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, making it a good choice for those looking to work on their short game. The course is noted for its scenic setting and affordability, with amenities like a free EV charging point adding to its appeal. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the staff's demeanor and the management of tee times, which can lead to a slow pace of play and occasional frustration with course operations.

I'd rate the course a 3.5. Been playing Armco for 10+ years. One of the few walkable courses left in the area. Par 57; very short course with a few challenging holes. Course does not accept tee times; best to arrive early to avoid leagues and slow golfers. Course is generally kept in pretty good condition. Clubhouse workers usually are respectful, and don't bother me; they also don't always follow proper golf etiquette. As an example, they will request early groups to start on the back nine; when making the turn, we will find that groups will have been started on the front, thus forcing early…

We love playing Armco. Don't listen to the other negative reviews. Our entire golf group loves coming here. For a VERY low cost public course the fairways and greens are IMMACULATE. The greens are some of the fastest in the area. It is a great way to work on your irons and short game. Period. It's not meant to be Augusta or Muirfield.... For a par 3 course and low fees what more do u want.

Front 9 all par 3's. Back 9 more of the same with 2 holes 🕳 par 4's. Nice course to work on your short game and irons.

By far the worst run golf course I've ever been too. Be prepared to wait for 45 minutes behind a league only to be told you'll need to wait another 45 minutes behind another league, all because it took you too long to tee off. People working their are extremely rude. Tried to tell me I couldn't get a refund, and could only take a rain check. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Busy golf course with nice staff (don’t know what other people’s experienced here, never faced a male Karen). Environment is pretty too, next to a small lake. Prices are ok. Even a free EV charging point to charge up your car during the golf session. Only downside is that some tees are in a rough shape due to frequent usage and the driving range is not too big, but overall my favorite golf course.

Do not go here!! Absolutely terrible staff, we got there at 5:15 played the front 9 really quick because they said if we did we could play the back 9 as well. Got back to the Clubhouse at 6:20 to pay for the back 9 and they wouldn't allow us to go out but they allowed a single player who was in front of us to go out and we were literally right behind him. Waste of money and will not support this golf course anymore. $25 to rush and and play for 1 hour?! Totally disrespectful and disappointed

Not sure if I’ll be back. I like the course but there’s a male Karen there who peeps over the pro shop window to see which 9 you start on. He’ll zoom over to you in the cart and charge you extra…who does that??? Are we paying per foot or per round?? Then he claimed that he told me to play on the front 9…never said a word in the pro shop… Ive played a lot of golf in my life in several different states…never been nickled and dined like that…This dude needs to stop or he’s gonna turn away a lot of good business.

Great municipal golf course, fantastic for working on the shirt game. Back nine is longer than the front

Armco park golf course is a very beautiful and well-kept course, however the staff in the pro shop were very rude, specifically the man and woman working the counter on Aug.4,2023. They yelled at us for using the golf cart to take our bags to our car and abruptly cut us off when speaking. Very crabby people

5/24/24 11 am. Too many 2somes. Allowing 2somes is a big reason for slow play. The Proshop should Force 2somes to join other 2somes. On busy days, Hills & Dales GC does not allow 2somes. … they know that this leads to incredibly slow play.

Went there on August 12th. Peeping Tom peeped over my shoulder again. Hunted me down like a bounty hunter and told me to sign his guest book as I’m teeing off. Where good days go to die at Armco with Peeping Tom as your golf ranger! Go peep elsewhere, pal. Don’t care if you’re a manager or owner either…it’s more sad if that’s the case!

Beautiful course. Terrible staff. This staff was screaming at member of the United States military for damaging a golf cart that they didn’t damage. It was damaged when they received it. Any business that treats our own military members like that should be ashamed of themselves. I will never be back in honor of our military!!!
