In summary

Warren Swigart Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, variety of hole distances, and suitability for practicing short games, making it an excellent choice for beginners and casual players. The course is noted for being a quick and enjoyable nine-hole round, with a pleasant setting featuring mature trees. However, some visitors have pointed out issues with the condition of the carts, tee boxes, and occasional staff rudeness.

For a city-owned, par 3 course, you cannot beat Warren Swigart. My son is just starting to play golf, so this was the perfect place to play after so much time at just the range. It can be a little spongy, and a little soupy in places after a rain, but the mature trees (vs courses built on a corn field), make Swigart great. You can ride, rent a push cart or walk. If you walk, you get a little bit of a work out, but it doesn't drain you for the day since it's only nine holes.

Good beginners course, and good for a quick practice round. It's fairly easy to play through nine in 1.5 hrs. That's about it. No actual paths, the carts are pretty dilapidated, and the tee stations are in rough shape. I would, however, come back to simply practice my irons and putting. Don't expect to use your driver on anything but hole 6.

Has a good variety of hole distances for a Par 3 course.

Had a good time golfing there and really enjoyed the course. However, the grass in the teebox as well as the fairway was alot higher than I'm used to and that added a few extra swings to the card. Will play again, because I feel I lost the first go round, so I've got to get some payback. Nice course though.

The Guy working the front is extremely rude talks in a very aggressive way better be careful talking to people like that someone might not take it to kindly. The course itself is good to practice on your short game.

A great place for a casual game of golf. An especially good place to get out and be active during COVID. Only person you interact with is the person in the shop and they have a mask and counter shield. I highly recommend for a stress free relaxing activity during COVID.

I had been playing at Westwood Heights, and decided to try out this course. The difference was night and day. This place puts Westwood to shame. For just about the same of money, you can play on this far superior course. The fairways are actually maintained and the greens have some break and are trimmed well. If you are looking to work on your short game, this is a great option. They take credit cards for green fees, but you will need cash for pull carts or tees. 10.50 for first 9, 5.50 for second 9.

The greens were crisp, fast, and made for a great putting day. The grass was well kept. I enjoyed this golf course way more than Westwood heights, Westwood has crappy service and the greens are awful.

Considering it was opening day. The course was in great shape. Greens were rolled and freshly cut. Staff people are great. Favorite course for my 95 yr old father in law

Nice little par 3 coarse. Pretty well kept, and great to brush up on your short game. You're sure to not lose too many golf balls
