In summary

Benson Park Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and scenic layout, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for many golfers. The course is noted for its good condition and friendly staff, although some visitors have experienced issues with the pace of play and have found the course management and communication lacking at times. Additionally, the presence of a course ranger has been a point of contention, with some feeling pressured to play faster despite not holding up play.

A nice course but the Course Ranger harasses you non-stop to play faster even when there is no one behind you on a tee box and there are people in front of you. Ruins your day of golf for no reason. The rudest and most unprofessional golf staff I have experienced. See the pictures of the "people we were holding up with our place of play." Never again.

My first time playing this place. I have nothing but great things to say about it. I called to see if they had room for a solo guy and they gave me two times to try and make since I was leaving work to go play golf. You won’t find another course in Omaha that’ll do that for ya. Place was in really great shape and it was an overall great time at a course

Nice golf course, but not great in terms of condition of the grounds on many tee boxes and even some of the fairways. Greens were very good with consistent roll factors.

Booked a tee time for Saturday, and when arrived they were closed. No notice or call to tell us that they were closed left us scrambling to find a tee time. If you have people with a tee time and you are going to be closed spend the time to give them a heads up that you are so people don't waste time.

Played last week. Course was in very good condition. Cart paths have been improved a bit. Greens were better than many places in town. Carts were nicer than many places, too. No problem with pace of play. Kudos to the City for finally starting to care about this course.

Staff was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. First nine holes took forever due to logjams at tee boxes and then was told we could not play the back nine because of league and us playing too slow. We had paid for 18 and was given the option to leave after nine or play the front nine again. Not to mention the guy behind the desk being extremely hostile while checking in, first time I’ve ever been asked for Id and a drivers license at a golf course. On a positive note, the course itself is great.

They have a staff member that fallows you around in his cart and just stares at you the entire time. As i look through the reviews its definitely the same guy because He told me to speed up my play even though I played 9 holes in like an hour and a half. Why they feel its professional to do this is beyond me. Definitely would suggest a different course.

The course layout is decent. Challenging, but not punishing. The staff was friendly. Biggest drawback was pace of play. No ranger. We quit after 16 holes as our round was going to be nearly 6 hours due to very slow play, and that was after we skipped a hole to jump past the incredibly slow grou in front of us. They had two entire holes open in front of them. Again, no ranger. With three groups on the 17th tee, the last two holes were going to be a slow nightmare. Won't be back.

Nice fairways and greens. The cart paths were a little rough but they are in the middle of redoing them and only one or two tee boxes need chunks filled in. There were so many BEAUTIFUL views! My group enjoyed our round and will be back!!!

The course was is great shape. The greens were nice and fast although the front nine was aerated and not back filled with sand so they were pretty bumpy. The rough was extremely long, very tough.
