Water Oak Country Club Estates is praised for its friendly community atmosphere, well-maintained grounds, and a wide array of amenities including a golf course, pools, and a clubhouse. The staff is often described as helpful and accommodating, contributing to a positive living and visiting experience. However, some visitors express concerns about the cost of playing golf, the condition of older homes, and the concept of paying land rent, which may not appeal to everyone.

I have lived in Water Oak since 2018 and have no complaints. The Management has always been very helpful. I recently sold my older home and moved into the new section of the community and love it. Thanks to Michelle and Peter for all of your help. Thank you to the maintenance staff for always helping, and thanks to the office staff.

Visited the subdivision last week with high hopes. Unfortunately, as soon as I pulled into the subdivision, I realized that my enthusiasm was definitely going to be tempered The homes are old, The streets are very narrow, The homes are very close to each other Generally speaking, I could not recommend a subdivision to anyone

Loved it we installed a new air conditioner there and security was tight at the gate. I liked that. AC units are getting long in the tooth and find homeowners are very nice and accommodating. Nice clubhouse pool and pickleball courts. Wish I could afford to live there.

55+ Manufactured home resort!!! Deserves a 10! Meticulous grounds, 18hole golf course, multiple pools, over 1200 homes & adding new sections, most incredible Clubhouse I've ever seen, restaurant, over 100 activities, mostly brand new homes, hope move 2 move here in the future. Can't say how wonderful enough that it is.

Nice place to visit. We were considering moving here as an option but after careful consideration, we think we'll pass. It is a very nice over 55 community but amenities are very limited for our liking. To play golf daily, you have to purchase an annual membership although there really are no HOA fees to speak of. Built on leased land, you own the home but not the land the home sits on. Instead, you rent the lot. Depending on where you live, waterfront, along the golf course or a standard lot, determines the monthly lot rent. Which is understandable. The lot rent can vary from $725/mo to, I th…

Nice golf course but could use a bit more grass off the greens. UPDATE: the new course is very nice, it's still growing and filling in, but more water holes

This course is way too expensive for what it is. The owners spend $6 million dollars on this course to change the layout and improve the fairways and greens. They missed their mark. This is the most expensive course in the area. The greens are fast and in great shape, the fairways are fair to good. The hold you at the tee box until the first foursome leaves the green to improve pace of play. Which normally is a good thing. However they start residence that only want to play 9 holes on the back 9 so when you make the turn the pace of play goes away. Fortunately for us the group playing 9 in fro…

One of Florida's best-kept secrets. Beautiful homes nestled in a gated community with so much to do and see. From the pool to the restaurant, to the golf course, and all the other activities you can do as much or as little as you like in a beautiful and immaculately maintained setting. The staff are super friendly, helpful and some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Course is in rough shape. Not much grass on the fairways. Greens are pretty good but some are quite small. Clubhouse is nice and the employees are very friendly. There are a few places that holes are very close to each other which leads to close calls if someone hits a bad shot.
