In summary

Waterville Golf Course, now known as Falcon Pointe, is appreciated for its friendly staff, varied hole layouts, and reasonable pricing, making it an attractive option for beginners and those seeking a relaxed golfing experience. Many visitors commend the greens for their condition, although some express concerns about inconsistent maintenance of fairways and roughs. Recent price increases have been a point of contention, with some feeling the course's upkeep does not justify the higher fees compared to nearby alternatives.

This place has been reopened and they are doing a phenomenal job with it. I played this course for 10 years and always enjoyed it, so I wasn't certain what I would think about the newly designed backside. Great job. 1st off, the carts have GPS so you know you exact distances to the greens.. speaking of which, the greens are excellent. They are smooth and roll true. Fairways are plush. Food is amazing. Gary and Rhonda are doing this right. Give this place a try!

Course was in good shape and very fun because every hole was very different. The hole with the pond right in front of the tee box was a fun challenge. Beginners might step up to the #3 tee box because you will lose lots of balls otherwise. Kind of pricey. Around 40 dollars a person with carts for all 18. It's a fun and well rounded course and will probably add it to my rotation.

I play there often. They raised the prices recently. The course is good shape most of the time. There are days that the rough and fairways are cut longer than they should be and they need baggers on their mowers. Greens are always nice. They make it cart path only way more than any other course I've seen which is a pain but it's still a nice place to play.

As a long time visitor of the course, I have to say the staff is friendly and the course is wide, short, and easy. The cons are that the course is not well kept, there is no driving range, and the experience is never anything amazing; but it was the cheapest place in town by $10 per nine holes, making it wildly attractive to go there. However, management recently raised the price $10 to match the across-town competition, which would be a smart decision if they were comparable in terms of upkeep, maintenance, challenge, etc--but it's not even close. I would strongly recommend going to the other…

Decent public 18 hole course. Prices were very reasonable.(around 20ish for 2 players of 9 holes with cart.) Management was friendly. Course was maintained nicely. First 9 holes is more water hazards we're back 9 has more sand bunkers. Had a great time here as I was teaching my nephew how to play for his golf merit badge. Course follows 90 degree rule. Great beginners course for those who are new to the game or played for years and just want to have a relaxing time.

Played there a few times just cause of the $20 for 18 deal but fair warning these are some of the worst greens I've ever seen on a golf course 14/18 greens had either huge bald spots or huge embedded sand spots nearly unputtable, staff is friendly just need a new green keeper badly! Decent course for the value but better off driving 20 minutes further to nob north or spring lakes

Golf course has always been fun to play due to price and not very many golfers so not right on top of eachother... showed up after work one day, and hours said open but was turned away because there was only an hour and half of daylight left and they had to clean carts. Superintendent was still on course pretty good establishment you got running.

Now called Falcon Pointe. Best shape I've ever seen this course. When you play there you got to get a burger! They're delicious! The new greens are slick and roll true! Definitely be going back@

This course is the worst ive ever seen it. It looks like the fairways were cut with an uneven deck. The greens are in poor shape and rarely do you get the ball to roll without hitting something to move it off course. The only reason I went there is they charged $25 for 18 and a cart. They went up to $33. So even though this course is 2 miles from my house I will never go back. Not worth the time or money to play here. I gave it 2 stars because the staff is nice and I like them. Suggestion for ever getting business from people like me. Try doing a twilight rate. Maybe putting up a sign saying w…

I have played at this course for 35 years and it is now in wonderful condition. I was very happy to see it back the way it used to be. The greens are in the best condition 25 years .A great place to learn to play golf.

Very nice people. I like the layout of Waterville so much better than chatta valley. Unfortunately both courses are never in good shape compared to nice golf courses. At Waterville they know there course needs work and the price reflects it. Chatta valley needs work and there prices are much higher for a subprime / at best medium condition course. Hopefully someday Waterville's conditions will get much better so they will not go out of business. Still like it better than chatta....all considering. Can you imagine if the condition was good?.

Paid for 4 golfers asked the proshop attendant want shape the courses in he assured me there greens were excellent and the rest of course I was in very good shape hit the ball down the middle of the Fairway and could not find it from being 4 in in deep grass not fair way cut grass very disappointed drove 80 miles to play this course asking all the questions before going to sure that the course was in good shape and it was in terrible shape.. I took a few pictures just taken show people back home how terrible them Fairways tee boxes and most of the greens were in decent shape won't be going bac…
