What People Say

In summary

Eagle Bluff Golf Club is praised for its scenic and challenging layout, featuring significant elevation changes and a variety of shot requirements. The staff receives high marks for their friendliness, and the course offers excellent value for the price. However, some visitors note that the course conditions, particularly the greens and bunkers, could benefit from better maintenance and investment.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not too crowded. First time playing and while the course is not in amazing condition, it was very good and well worth the greens fee. The carts seemed brand new and I thoroughly enjoyed my round. There are many elevation changes and it was a fun challenge for this hacker.

The course obviously needs a money infusion. Having said that I had a great time. The staff was amazingly friendly and courteous. The course was a lot of fun to play. The price was terrific and the scorecard contained recommendations for how to play each hole (very helpful since there are a lot of blind shots). The only reason I'm not give them five stars is simply because the owner needs to invest in some much needed renovations to the clubhouse and arguably to the course itself in the form of weed control and green maintenance. I would definitely recommend playing this course.

Very fun course to play. Always challenging and you get to use different clubs which is a change of pace from others. Usually only using driver on par 5s from blue tees. First time playing the course in a few years. It has gone down hill. No attention being paid to the greens in regards to foreign vegetation taking over. The price is what gets it the third star and the very friendly staff in the bar.

Beautiful landscape, semi-challenging course. Cheap but greens need attention. Gas powered golf carts, and the paths can be challenging. No 9-hole price, 18 holes only. FYI: A decent drive will put you straight into woods on hole 1. There are always a plethora of golf balls people have lost or given up on there. I was very pleseantly surprised with this course! First, you can't beat the price. Just walking into the Pro Shop, I was headed out on the course for $32.50 to play a course worth more than that for sure. Is it absolutely pristine? Haha absolutely not. But totaly worth the price to play. The layout is extremely hilly. I do not recommend walking this course unless you have the legs of a Minotaur. There are a lot of narrow tee shots that require a fun carry over hazards of some sort. Be careful on 14 not to hit driver if you can carry 250+. You WILL launch it over a cliff and you WILL be requi…

Course is in fair condition, nothing special. The layout though is very cool and challenging. A lot of elevation change and turns and it was only $25 for riding 18 and a small bucket of range balls.

Very good course. Value is great. I agree with Steve. If this was in the Greenville/Spartanburg area it would be $40 + . But don't expect your usual score. It is a challenging track. Condition of the course was very good considering the area is in drought conditions now. Go play it!

Great price. Issues are as follows: 1. Course is difficult but not well kept. Lots of weeds. 2. Layout - tee boxes direct one's shot in the wrong direction 3. Not really a club 4 90% of holes featured blind tee shots 5 developer ran out of money a long time ago (maybe hole 2) 6 if we were not the only fools to play it / it would take 8 hours Otherwise. It was a 5 star spot

$25 on the weekend with cart which was a great price for the course and to the condition it was in - pretty decent shape tees, fairways and greens. A course in comparable condition in my area (upstate SC) would run in the upper $40's. Very demanding from the blue tees. Its located inside a upper scale subdivision (one of those places that had planned to be 'gated' but there's no guard at the gate).

Nice scenic golf coarse. There are a lot of blind shots. However the card gives you a description of how to play the hole. And the staff was very friendly. The cost was very fair for the coarse.

I lived in the neighborhood for years and always found it to be clean, quiet, and we'll kept by maintenance. It's one of Chattanooga's best golf courses. Definitely worth the trip if you play golf.

Years ago this was a well manicured golf course. I played it last week for the 1st time in 9 years. Let's just say the new ownership has not spent any money improving the course. The only maintenance I could tell that is being done is a little grass cutting here and there on the fairways and spotty grass cutting on the greens. It was weed infested off the fairways and every bunker was void of sand. The bunkers were either full of rocks or muddy water. No sand to be found.
