What People Say

In summary

Weddington Golf & Tennis is praised for its well-maintained par 3 course, accommodating staff, and clean facilities, making it an ideal spot for both beginners and experienced players. The driving range and tennis courts are noted for their upkeep, and the venue offers a pleasant setting with abundant wildlife. However, some visitors have experienced issues with customer service and note that the range balls can stray onto the course. Additionally, the facility's future is uncertain due to potential redevelopment plans.

Visited this course for the first time with my son who has just started playing. We had a wonderful time. We started out at the range. The girl at the desk was very friendly and they had buckets ready to go. Bucket prices were the norm at $15 for a large. It was nice not having to use a ball dispenser. The mats at the range were clean and newer and they provided rubber tees for them which was also an added bonus as several other ranges no longer provide those. There were plenty of spots to select (26 total bays at the range) So there was not waiting for a spot to warm up. The cover was a nice…

I've been coming to the Weddington golf and tennis facility off and on for over thirty years now and it's always a pleasure. The golf course is small but has a nice mix of holes. On weekdays they also allow frisbee/disc golf which is way cool! The driving range is also clean and spacious. I never use the putting green but it's very well trimmed. The snack bar makes excellent breakfast burritos! The tennis courts are also very clean and the whole facility is well groomed and maintained. And all of the employees are friendly. Keep up the great work everyone ☺️

This 9 hole Sherman Oaks Golf Course is absolutely beautiful. It’s located just off HWY 101 Laurel Canyon exit. The staff are friendly and pleasant. Tee times are very reasonable, it’s a must visit Golf Course.

The course is fine for the price. I had fun at a tournament here. Not the most beautiful course though. Bar closes early on Sunday.

I am a new golfer so this review is solely based on customer service and the driving range. The staff was really nice and accommodating. I broke the driver from the shaft that ended up on the driving range. They were quick to locate it and retrieve it for me. Overall both my experiences were good. They have a cafe if you get hungry or need something to drink. There is also golf lessons if you are a beginner and need some training.

I have frequented and supported this neighborhood venue for over 17 years. Recently I experienced 2 very negative and nasty visits there: one with Golf the other tennis. The same people own both concerns! Last Tuesday night my family went to book a 🎾 tennis court around 7 pm . The dismissive and nasty woman at the front desk( she called herself Luann) raised her voice and insisted NO we were too late. The courts do not close until 9/10 pm ; and were noticeably not booked or crowded. We were happy to pay full rates for even a 30 minute use. We had no choice but to walk away with a ruined even…

Fantastic service and great facilities. A no brainer for Harvard-Westlake students.

Pretty nice facility for what it is. It's fit on a small amount of land. The driving range is too short to hit drivers, and the balls need to be refreshed more often. But the par 3 course is in good shape, and (for this location) it is overall a good place.

I love this place, it's 4 minutes from my house and there's always an open spot for me in the parking lot and at the range and buckets of golf balls on the shelves waiting for me. The ladies at the desk are super sweet, especially Janet, I will usually stop after I'm done at the driving range and talk with her and show her pictures of my puppies. Great place and awesome staff over all.

This is the BEST 9-hole course you could ever play. Each hole is fashioned after a famous golf course. Too bad it will soon be DESTROYED because City of L.A. wouldn't purchase it from the Weddington family heirs. This place is Hollywood legendary- it's the first golf course in L.A. where women, minorities, and children could learn to play golf. ⛳ This beautiful 16 acres of an affordable 9-hole golf course, multi-stalled driving range, and 17 lighted tennis courts will SOON SADLY be destroyed to make room for Harvard Westlake's new sports complex. Check it out before it's too late.

Solid and well kept greens. With shade and fast pace. Early morning weekday you should knock it out in 45 min. The only Con to this course is the dozens of range balls all over every single hole. Played at 7am on a weekday and easily had 5 or 6 range balls on every hole

As far as Par 3 golf courses go, this is one of the best. The grass is kept really nice, trees are abundant, and nature is around. Nice little spot to forget that you were in the middle of Los Angeles. The range is nice, well-lit, and open late also.
