In summary

West Pines Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and scenic setting, with many visitors highlighting the excellent condition of the greens and fairways. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, and amenities such as the pro shop and beverage cart are appreciated. However, some guests have experienced issues with pace of play and inconsistencies with cart path rules, which can detract from the overall experience.

The course was perfect, the greens are super fast. We were a group of one player and one spectator. We had a two-some ahead of us who crossed over to the front 9 to purchase something from the cart girl, they called the clubhouse on us because we moved ahead of them (clearly because they moved out of play) and the ranger literally questioned OUR GOLF ETIQUETTE and made us wait for them to come back and get ahead of us, not only did we have to wait but said two-some decided to hit two balls each at the next hole and take their sweet time. We could have easily moved ahead and finished our game l…

Wow. West Pines is an awesome layout. So MANY cool holes. Nearly every hole could be a signature hole at other courses. The course has really cool holes. Lots of hitting downhill and uphill. My home course is considered hilly, and it’s an airport compared to West Pines. If you’re going to walk this course, think twice about. My ONLY knock of this place is it’s 18 holes that doesn’t come back to the clubhouse. So there’s no real way to get out for a quick 9 on foot. And there’s really no “jumping out the back”. In other words, when you choose to walk the front 9, and realize it’s way too hard…

I’ve been going to this course for the past 4 years, it used to be an OK Muni in the area but since covid they have put a TON of money in renovating this course to because something exception in the area. the layout has great variety and rewards good play well without being too difficult to higher handicaps. There are a couple of holes that you can make some big numbers on because of the forced caries required. During summer this place is PURE, greens fast and firm, fairways that roll with tight mowed grass. During winter the play stays very nice but will be very soft without really any roll o…

Solid 4 star course imo. Tee boxes and fairways were great, and the greens will also be great in another month. Still a little bouncy from whenever they punched them last. Carts were really nice. Gps, Bluetooth, etc. Clubhouse had some really cool gear for sale too. Layout was relatively challenging. We played from the blues and there were quite a few 400+ yard par 4s and 175+ yard par 3s which is pretty long for me. might play from the whites next time and see what difference it may have made. Solid driving range and putting area. Cart girl came around twice. Pace of play was a little slow…

Played here for the first time today. The course is in great shape and really challenging. Very enjoyable round. Pro shop personnel were very welcoming and the inventory was good and reasonably priced. Practice area and driving range is good. The hot dog, chips, and drink special on the course was great ($7!) the drink and snack cart person was awesome! I had a great time!

A very solid course. The greens are in amazing shape. The course is well maintained and you will have a great time playing this course. The pace is good, can be a tad bit faster... There is sufficient challenge and sufficient fun! You can walk this course and have fun doing it.

Beautiful golf course, nice clubhouse with very nice stuff to choose from. It was a very smooth course to play. Cost me around $66 to play during the weekend so a little less during the week I would imagine. The golf cart's were nice also they had built in range finders in them, which was awesome because it was so much easier and it kept the game moving along haha. All in all wonderful experience.

Very well maintained. The upgrades they've added over the past couple of years have made WP the best public course in West Georgia.

Went to play a nice round of 18, have never had a problem with the greens or fairway. But today the greens were hard as concrete! Hot day and saw not one sprinkler get turned on! One side of the green decides its a 10.2 green rating and the other side is a solid 6.4! Im confused i payed almost $70 to play on a slab of concrete! Crazy!!
