In summary

West Plains Country Club receives praise for its well-maintained golf course, friendly staff, and enjoyable dining experiences, including standout homemade desserts. However, some visitors express concerns over the outdated facilities, inconsistent food quality, and management issues, including financial difficulties and service delays. The club's atmosphere is generally seen as welcoming, though some feel improvements are needed in staff training and overall management.

Staff is a bit untrained although they are super nice. Food is less than mediocre. I would like to see this place take ownership and make it.

I crashed the pool today! I actually went in to take a look at the pool and amenities. It looks nice and looks like a place that I could enjoy. The people are friendly 😉

Over-priced mediocre golf course!!! For the price I would expect better everything. I was hunted down by a drunk-important person holding a beer, to be told I should have raked the bunker that I had walked in...I respectfully said it wouldn't happen again. The problem is that there wasn't sand in any of their bunkers except for hole 8. Hole 8 has real sand in the bunker. The hole I didn't rake was mostly dirt and had obviously not been raked for a while, but he said that raking is what members do there. He should have used his excellent big-fish-in-little-pond-policing to watch everyone else n…

This place is desperately in need of remodeling. Bathrooms old & outdated. Very limited choices on menu. Wait staff doing a great job, given what they have to work with. We were the only diners there on a Saturday night, other than a group of 8th graders. Changes desperately needed!! Management needs to step up!!

Half the reviews about this place arent even reviews. It has wonderful food and quality service all for a decent price. Definitely recommending the homemade desserts and my favorite the honey mustard chicken wrap. I have never once ran into a snobby person, but many people like to share their jealousy and crude opinions over the internet. 10/10 would recommend again.

This app should give minus symbols, not only star options because my visit was not even worthy the one star. I am a well-traveled person and have enjoyed outstanding customer service, food, and elegance. But this Country Club lacks all three requesites to even being labeled anything remotely mentionable.

Course Layout is A1. Staff is great. Greens are butter. How can you not love this course.

Sorry excuse of a company with any moral respect for the community. Better stay off 63 unless you want to be out of pocket for golf balls hitting your vehicle.

West Plains' Spoiled Elite. My business provided goods and services to West Plains Country Club, and have waited months for payment. We have been told by the Club Secretary "Don't be mad at me, we are having financial difficulty". So while West Plains' spoiled Elite play, on my dime, and don't pay their bills, we wait, and wait, and wait. We must be responsible and pay our own bills; otherwise we would not be able to stay in business. Yet, it seems, some do not. DO NOT extend credit to West Plains Country Club.

Very nice course. Well manicured with challenging green. Carts do need GPS to show distances.
