In summary

Westminster Trails Golf Club receives praise for its friendly staff, challenging layout, and well-maintained greens, with some golfers appreciating the unique features like the island par 3. However, there are concerns about course conditions, such as hard greens and overgrown roughs, as well as issues with pace of play and customer service. The course's pricing is also noted as high by some, considering the conditions and maintenance.

Great course. Awesome for the beginner. Not overly difficult. We will be back to tackle this course again.

Surprisingly green fairways and greens despite the lack of rain and searing heat. Holes are a challenge. A very good country course close to south end of London. Today the odour of manure was noticeable.

Honestly, ever since golf north got ahold of this place, it's gone downhill. It's to the point that they're barely maintaining it to milk as much cash out of this place as possible. It's now mid October, the greens are freshly aerated, and they're still charging full summer green fees. Cherry on top, they're prioritizing extending one of their Par 5s in to a Par 6 (who does that?), rather than fixing tee boxes or greens that are in awful shape. This place is not worth it anymore.

Golf North Built 5 new tee blocks, they now have very good greens. 18 lengthened and now a nice par5 .. they now have a great par6 hole.

DO NOT PLAY HERE. Course conditions: The green fee is too high for the quality of the course. Caradoc Sands is the same price to walk, and conditions there are 3x as nice. The Greens are rock hard and you get to watch your ball bounce 12 feet in the air. Fairways are always long, with weeds and mixed grass. Management: Today we finished the front 9, and find 4 groups starting on #10. Went inside to ask what is going on. Said they booked a tournament... not sure how that works out when they sent people out on the front 9 all morning. I suppose they thought we would wait for an hour to play th…

Called late last night about getting in as a single in the morning. Very pleasant young lady assured me yes and told me how to do it online. Booked a time and showed up early to get booked in. Extremely positive reception. Was informed the others I was matched with teed off earlier. handed me key and told me to have a great game. WOW. Three other courses I called the night before couldn't be bothered with a single. Guess where I go back to?

The course itself is nothing to write home about. I wouldn't want to play it in the heat if summer with little to no trees for shade. But worst of all is the clubhouse. It's an absolute dump! No food available when we were there, but that might be a good thing seeing as how the kitchen looked disgusting.

I love this course, due to when I first started connecting with the ball and having great battles while playing here with a friend. There is sentimental value. The staff is always kind and professional with me. The course is open, but the long grass and rough can capture your ball, like Somali pirates do with vessels. The greens are fast. The rough can be a little frustrating due to it being thick and long. That is my only complaint about this course. There were a few times where I lost a ball when I don’t think I really should have. Just due to the ball getting swallowed up by grass. We could…

Hidden gem! Booked online last minute and staff let me play as a single, had a great time at the golf course. Great friendly staff. The expansive greens provided a challenging yet enjoyable playing experience, the fast greens and numerous ponds added complexity to the game. Several holes to watch for including #6 par 3 angled green, very fast and tough to read ! Also #11 is a beautiful island par 3 but challenging. I can't wait to go back!!!

First time playing. Decent course for the price. Fairways and rough were dry and hard. Not sure how the course will hold up during the hotter drier months. Greens were very sloped, lots of false fronts. Course is challenging for first time playing. Few tee shots where I wasn’t exactly sure where the fairway was going. Management looks to be putting some money in to the place. Will be interested to see what comes of it. Would definitely play again for a cheaper round in the city

There appears to be some improvements since Golf North has taken over but they still have a long ways to go. As it stands, the course is wide open, flat and somewhat boring. The biggest obstacles here are the greens, which are so sloped, it's almost impossible keep the ball on them. That being said, I think this course would be ideal for a 'links style' course with a little work. Add some pot bunkers, some fairway moguls and let the fescue grow along side the fairways. This, in my opinion, would make this course far more interesting. On a positive note, the course is in good shape, they have t…
