In summary

Willowbrook Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, scenic setting, and accommodating staff, particularly the owner, Tammy. The course offers a mix of challenging holes suitable for various skill levels, and many appreciate the reasonable pricing and friendly atmosphere. However, some guests have reported feeling unwelcome or treated differently as non-members, and there have been isolated incidents of unprofessional behavior from staff.

I was traveling on business and decided to try out Willowbrook on a whim. Upon arrival the owner, Tammy, was super friendly and fit me in for nine holes on a busy day. I also rented clubs for a nominal fee, which was very convenient. I can’t say enough about the entire staff and this course. The course meanders through green rolling hills and evergreens, and the greens are the most lush I have seen. It is a good mix of long par 5s and mid/shorter 3s and 4s. I made it in right before a huge storm, which was a wonder to see from the clubhouse. Highly recommend this course to anyone. Amazing!

One of the nicest public golf courses in CNY. Definitely worth the trip from Syracuse for the round. Also the groundskeeper Jim is fantastic. Genuine course with genuine people. A must play!

Fun course! Tammy (owner) was very accommodating for a large group of 17/18 year old baseball players and dads on a Friday afternoon, 80 degrees and sunshine. Greens were in excellent condition and the bar was well-stocked with excellent views!

I hadn't played golf in close to 5 years and probably well over 10 since I played Willowbrook. Still a nice 18 hole course.

This is a lovely small course with great views around the hills south of Cortland. They obviously work hard on maintenance since the course always appears in good condition when I drive by. They have lots of league play but there are plenty of options to play here at a reasonable price.

Course was busy the day I played and the greens keeper chose violence that day. Greens were in nice shape just pin placement was killing me lol.

My go to spot for 18. Great course that's well maintained. Pace of play is great and when it's not there is ways around it. Ownership is what really makes the place what it is. Family owned and operated and they all care a lot! Thank you Willbrook can't wait to hit 3 digits my first game out!

Course is in fantastic shape, nicest greens I've played in a very long time. Owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Give it a shot midweek and you'll enjoy a non-rushed great time!

A big “Thanks” to Tammy for accommodating me and my son this morning on his 18th birthday!! Course is in great shape, but, as I was told, the people are what make the difference. Can’t wait for my next visit so I can play it again!!

Staff is super friendly, great spot for early season golf. When most courses are closed they do a great job opening on playable days. Great place to play

Very decent course for beginner to amateur, very friendly and knowledgeable greenskeeper and maintenance staff. Club house customer interaction is stratified between member and guest, leaving the guest feeling a little like they are an inconvenience, or nuisance, otherwise a great golfing experience with little traps and penalty areas.
