Wilson Country Club

As a venue, we can't rate our experience high enough. We held a wedding reception here. The space was decorated beautifully. The restaurant served delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. The staff could not have been nicer, nor more helpful. We highly recommend Wilson Country Club!!!!

Beautiful course. Saw my first Hole-in-One! Just attended a catered gala. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and the facilities beautiful.

This is a well kept golf course with some nice holes. I really liked the design and placement of the bunkers, and the greens were nice as well. The course is very challenging for the beginning golfer. Some fairways are narrow and tight, flanked by homes, which made me nervous (as I still slice or shank the ball frequently). I slowed my swing down and made it through with no issues. The driving range was great, with many targets so you could work on your short game.

Beautiful! The grounds look great! And when I walked inside; I said wow! What a fine place to be! The people I met are of the finest!

I just became a member recently. I couldn’t ask for much more. From the pro shop (Johnathan) to the bar tender Janel, I feel at home when I come to play my rounds. Thank you all for all the hard work you put into giving us a great experience.

Beautiful layout, older Eastern NC Course with great views. Nicely Maintained. Club house recently renovated. Proshop and grill fully stocked with all of the things you may need for a great round of golf!

This course was in great shape & a lot of fun. The clubhouse recently remolded. The food was delicious & the service was excellent.

I didn't go into the club house. The carts were nice. They even had a usb connection for your phone or other electronic device. The tee boxes and fairways were well manicured. The greens appeared to have been air raided recently so they were a little hard to read, but they seemed to be well manicured as well. It was my first time playing at this course and I loved it. It has character. Some challenges but fair. Well maintained cart paths. I look forward to playing golf here again. I highly recommend this place. Actually I give it a 4.6. A 5 if the greens had not been air raided.

course is 7 out of 10, decent fairways, nice greens ok tee boxes. NOW if you have not played there before here are your problems: Zero signage in the clubhouse, walk the halls till your heart is content. Zero layout on the card, zero layout on the tee boxes and zero map/gps in the carts. So you have no idea where the dog legs go, or if there are bunkers behind the greens, and most holes are dog legs. So if you are not with a person familiar with the course, you are screwed. Little things mean a lot. I am sure Mr McConnell will take care of some of these issues soon.....

Our family has been members for many years. We enjoy the top-notch golf course, clay and hard surface tennis courts, and the huge pool. The food is gourmet without being fussy and the staff is super friendly and go out of their way to please the members.
