In summary

Wolf Creek Golf Club is highly regarded for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for golfers of all skill levels. The course layout offers a mix of challenging and easier holes, with the back nine providing a more intricate design. While the fairways receive some criticism for patchy conditions and bare spots, the overall experience is praised for its value and enjoyable play, though some visitors note the lack of on-course restroom facilities and water.

The course at Wolf Creek is pretty good with some challenging holes for beginners. The grounds are well maintained and easy to get around both with a cart and walking. The downside is there were no restroom facilities anywhere on the course so you would have to go back to the clubhouse for that. The clubhouse itself is nice and well kept. They do have food and drinks available but I don't know to what extent since we were there for an event.

Great course for all skill levels, and an especially good place for new golfers. Fairways and greens were healthy, even after a really dry later summer and early fall. Greens were soft and very rewarding. Not a long track, but has a good mix of easy and tough holes to keep you engaged. Would 100% recommend it for anyone in the area. Staff was friendly and pace of play was good.

Love Wolf Creek, however, to be fair I am biased. First place I went golfing when it was just a nine hole track. It is green. It is in good shape. It is a challenge. Greens pretty good with a few spots that need attention. They did not have water on the course. Super friendly staff. Good food.

They have a lot 500 yd holes, I absolutely love it! I played the front 9, can’t wait to play the back nine, great people in the office!

great combination of rural golf with best greens within 50 miles. The course is under new management and updated the clubhouse. Inexpensive and all the course you can eat from the back tees. Front nine more open but difficult and tricky. Back nine more trees and interesting routing. Last three holes are difficult. great place to explore the interesting courses South of Chicago. Not fancy but great food in Pontiac if you are interested in a few great food places. Located on Old Rt. 66.

A perfect hidden gem of a Public Golf Course, three sets of tees for every player level. Par 72, best greens anywhere in IL. You will love this course, very reasonable pricing, best 18 hole value around. Great kitchen for after golf dining.

Nice sporty layout, friendly staff. The conditions of the greens were far superior to the conditions of the fairways. Many, many bare spots and bad lies even in the middle of the fairways. Would say it is a nice value though.

I enjoyed my golf experience today. For all the rain that occurred the day before , the course was in great condition. Staff was friendly and the golf was an very affordable price.

Nice course with a variety of holes, back nine more challenging with a few inverted bowl shaped greens. Overall in good shape, some patchy fairways with bare spots. Greens were in good shape...

The golf course and green fee can’t be beat. The staff are very friendly and professional. Food and service are wonderful. Pontiac area is blessed to have such a fun course so close.

Horrible conditions, mud in the fairways and standing water in places. The grass is dead in most fairways, so a better approach would be to play out of the rough. The website says water comes onto play on 13 of 18 holes but there is no signage to let you know where or how many yards away. Blind holes with water. They could at least mount a binder with the hole layout and yardage to different points on each hole in each golf cart. I'm not saying I can hit it where I want to every time but I at least want to know before hand where to try to avoid.
