Wood Ranch Golf Club

3/18/2023 - A complimentary Wedding Show at Wood Ranch, Simi Valley, CA is held today. Enjoyed one of the best charcuterie boards at the lobby near a beautiful fire pit while tasting mimosa and other drinks. Talked to some vendors to learn their services. Coming soon, a women's steamroom will be newly built for members' enjoyment.

The scenery here is gorgeous, but the course itself is way too tricky and feels very dated. Similar to Tierra Rejada (another course I refuse to play) just up the road, good shots often get punished with terrible rollouts, and when the wind is blowing 30 mph out of the north it makes landing zones almost impossible to judge unless you’ve played the course several times. I played an SCGA qualifier here and, unbelievably, the greens had been punched just a few days before the event. Played on 5/7/2018 through SCGA member outings. Course is in prime condition. Smooth fairways, thick rough, clear first and second cut, super fast green (11 to 12), difficult pin positions. Probably they just hosted a professional tournament. 3 putted all day long.

Today I went to a real estate economic forecast meeting at the Wood Ranch Country Club. It was a lovely day and wonderful overall experience. The food was excellent. Staff members were friendly and efficient. There were beautiful gigantic windows overlooking the golf course and green hills. Since it was a large group, I hesitantly ordered the salmon salad. My expectations were greatly exceeded due to the freshness and perfect preparation of the fish. Kudos to the chef! I highly recommend this location for business meetings, weddings and any other event.

We are an entertainment company in Simi Valley and have done countless events at the Wood Ranch Golf Club. This venue is truly stunning for both corporate and private events. Jonay and her catering team are enjoyable and extremely easy to work with. We highly recommend this venue for all events!

Wood Ranch Country Club is TOP NOTCH. I attended an event today and enjoyed every aspect. The facility is updated, elegant, clean and spacious. The staff have been 5-Star friendly. The lunch and refreshments were A+ quality and kept fresh from morning until late afternoon. The grounds are scenic and I look forward to entertaining my out-of-town real estate clients to the superb meals served by the restaurant.

Wood ranch has a great ceremony site away from everything with a great view and nice shade. The indoor reception area is really nice and can accommodate a large party. Golfers will enjoy the course and all the views.

Great facility with friendly staff and members. Golf course is player friendly yet can be very challenging. Practice area is well maintained. Practice balls are always in good shape.

It is very nice club. We attended an indoor bridal shower. The room got a bit warm. The place had plenty of parking and has beautiful scenery.

Just held our annual Awards banquet here for the 3rd consecutive year. Always receive compliments on the picturesque view of the golf course from the banquet hall. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. It was a pleasure working with Haley in planning all the event details. We had a gorgeous red carpet entry which really set the tone for the upscale event it was. Thank you WRGC staff!

Home course since 2022. Nice track. Several good signature holes. Food is very good. Some of the amenities could use an upgrade but overall everything you would want in a home course

I am so disheartened leaving a 1 star review because the wait staff is incredible, the food is delicious, and the venue is breathtaking. However, our experience with management on our wedding day was awful and therefore I cannot recommend this venue. To provide some context, The director of catering and banquet captain (she had 2 jobs that day as they were understaffed - which was not disclosed until weeks after my wedding date) was extremely rude to all guests, particularly the parents of the bride, the bride and the groom.
