In summary

Alderdale Greens is frequently praised for its well-maintained 9-hole course, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course is described as beautiful with generous fairways and fast greens, although some golfers mention the lack of water hazards and bunkers. However, there are occasional concerns about overbooking leading to slow pace of play and isolated reports of unfriendly encounters with management.

I've shot this course 4 times last season. This was my first this year. I hated giving this course anything other than a 5, but based on tonight's experience, the booking system REALLY needs to be reevaluated. As a course, you MUST space your tee times by at least ~12 minutes. We teed off at 6:20pm. There were 4 groups directly in front of us waiting to tee off. We asked their times....two different groups said 6:10pm. It was a logjam, and it did not free up for the entire round. It made for a very rushed round, and we also ran out of sunlight, which, had it not been as booked, we would have…

Very nice 9 hole course which is not overly long with generous fairways. Course is dry and in mid summer condition. Greens are in excellent condition! You can beat this course for the price, condition and friendly staff!

Been around golf all my life. Played this course with a group of new golfers. I left that night feeling so disrespected and angry over the way we were treated by the owner. If you're new to golf and you don't want to be chased around by Leatherface on a atv then I recommend playing a different course. He approached a group at about 50 km per hour and proceeded to scream in their face for 5 minutes. It was nuts. Especially considering it's just a crappy par 3 track.

Went for our first time yesterday, and we had a great time. No water or bunkers, short par 4s, an easy and fun course, and only $30 each to walk! Greens and fairways were in far better shape than my home course at Dundee ever were, and it's not even May yet!

For the price you pay, you would be hard pressed to find a better course on the island. Alderdale offers very well kept holes, varying scenery, and a very fun course. Perfect for starting your golf career.
