In summary

The Algonquin Golf Course is widely praised for its stunning coastal views, challenging yet enjoyable layout, and well-maintained greens and fairways. Visitors appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the excellent clubhouse amenities and dining options. While the course conditions are generally excellent, some players note occasional wet spots and less-than-perfect fairway conditions, but these are often overshadowed by the overall positive experience and reasonable pricing.

Great course with amazing views. Good early bird pricing. Carts with digital screens and small coolers full of ice.

Very nice staff. Beautiful setting for a friendly golf course. A few blind shots offer some surprises for first-time players. Nice walking layout. Looking forward to playing again next fall..

Grew up about one hour away and always had the opportunity to play this course. It has evolved over time but even with the changes still shows to be a fun but challenging course. Back 9 (as it always seems to be with beautiful courses) has the coastal views that are great but can come with the fun cost of wind. Luckily if you are a right handed player who tends to draw the ball you will enjoy! The conditions are typically great and the club house and training facilities are some of the best in NB. With the town close by it’s a terrific way to spend a day trip out to St Andrews. As I had pla…

I really enjoyed my experience at Algonquin. The course is beautiful and challenging but fun. The greens are fast and the bunkers are deep but should be avoidable! I usually play red tees and wish they were all placed on proper tee boxes (a few were placed at the start of the fairways). My foursome ate at the restaurant after our round and we had a wonderful experience. The smoked meat was delicious and our waiter V was very friendly and efficient. A great experience.

The Algonquin Golf Course in New Brunswick is a stunning destination! My husband and I drove from Toronto for a week by the sea and made a last-minute booking. It turned out to be an absolute pleasure. The course exceeded our expectations with its immaculate maintenance and stunning scenery of the bay of fundy. Every hole offers picturesque views, making the experience truly memorable. The staff were delightful and added to the overall charm of our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy a quick round of golf.

Having played a number of Top 100 courses in the world, I can say that The Algonquin is right up there with the best in the world in terms of design and architecture. The routing and variety in shot value is better than any course in Atlantic Canada. Donald Ross features are apparent and highlighted by McBroom and Whitman. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face playing the stretch from 10-15, which would all be unbelievable golf holes even without the ocean vista. Course condition would be the only thing keeping me from putting it on a world Top 100 level, but I believe it’s within reach maybe…

Great experience from start to finish. Never felt rushed at all during the check in process or by the starter. I ordered food 15 minutes before my tee time and they were kind enough to deliver it out to me on the course. The beverage cart came by numerous times. The course itself was in good shape (greens recently aerated but no impact on putting). Many of the views were spectactular, even on the holes that weren't along the water. Very playable at any skill level although offline shots are quite penalizing on some of the holes. After the round I stayed for a light dinner which was delicious a…

My husband /I have enjoyed our 50th/ 51/53 wedding anniversary on Oct. 6 golfing at your course! This year we were partnered with Don Davis/Carol ( not sure of last name) ..at 1:30 on the 6 th of Oct. They were great Ambassadors for your golf course. They were so patient with us and informative about the course layout! The starter was also helpful - as was the gentleman who showed us around the club house property We will hopefully be able to come next year

A beautifully laid out course with challenging pin-placements and tough bunkers. Fairways and greens were immaculate and the rough was manageable. Definitely a course one needs to play if they enjoy a tough course with beautiful views on most holes.

Front nine is decent, but it’s the back nine on the waters edge that makes this course memorable. Expected the fairways to be in better condition at this price point, however greens are in excellent shape. The course is very wet which makes playing out of any low laying areas messy. True links style rough, so don’t miss the fairway..

Had the opportunity to play Algonquin earlier this week on a trip through the area with my wife. The staff were all fantastic from start to finish, course is fun, and the views are beautiful. Course condition lacked in spots but I felt the price was quite reasonable and the rest of the experience makes up for any shortcoming there. Would not hesitate to play the next time I am in the area
