In summary

St. George Golf Club receives high praise for its challenging and well-maintained course, as well as the excellent dining experience at The Rouxbarb restaurant, which is noted for its great service and delicious food. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's condition, particularly regarding signage, maintenance, and the organization of rental clubs. Additionally, the course's layout, which currently features only 13 holes, has been a point of contention for some players.

Great environment with an amazing team of people. The newly expanded golf course gives a great challenge to any skill level of golfer. After your round swing by The Rouxbarb for arguably some of the best food in the area. Check them out!!

An interesting track - I'm told it is now under new management. There's only 13 holes (as of August 3rd, 2024) - so those playing 18 holes replay a few of the first holes. The course is quirky - and I love quirky. Lots of dog legs, some narrow holes, and a few blind shots with hazards invisible from the tee. Fairways can be bumpy - not pleasant if carting, but better certainly than Welsford. A few notes: 1. Shout out and thanks to local lobster fisherman Jarrett for showing me the way. 2. Jarrett - a 59 year old shouldn't be able to out drive you with a 4 iron. Hit the range! 3. Hollows - I…

I have golfed all over north America and a little in Europe. I do enjoy a working person's golf course. However, this golf course sets a record for poor design, poor condition and general unplayability.

Without any forewarning The Hollows charges full price for a course that is clearly under maintenance. Signage was abysmal; spent half the round looking for the next hole or asking other play groups for directions. A truly frustrating and disappointing experience.

Course is great. Can’t wait to get out this year. Only criticism is on updating their website, and how unorganized the rental clubs were. Starting out with no experience, I wasn’t sure what clubs to use. They had a large selection, but they were all mixed, lefts with rights, some with only drivers and putter, etc.. I think they would get more first timers to come back if they kept the clubs more organized.

Staff is super nice, but some greens are bumpy or patchy. Signs were all on the ground or we didnt know what directions to go... looks like an abandonned club.. for 30$ i've seen better... Too bad its a fun course..

What a dump. Unless you REALLY have an urge to knock a golf ball around give it a miss. Pay a few (OK more than a few) dollars more and play the Algonquin in St. Andrews. This was perhaps the worst course I've had the chance to play. The condition of the parking lot and "club house" should be your first clue. It's doesn't get any better from there.

Nice course, allowed us to have a jack and Jill and were very helpful with reserving carts and tee times for a large group. Would highly recommend.
