The course is noted for its challenging layout and reasonable green fees, though some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play and interactions with marshals. Rockwood Park Golf Course is an amazing place! The course is beautiful and very well maintained. I even saw deer and goose during my visit, which made the experience even more special. The staff is friendly, and the whole environment is peaceful and welcoming. I had a great lesson with Roberto Mackinnon. He is patient, professional, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made learning golf enjoyable. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a great golf instructor!

Nice carts. Well run starter area. Not much else to speak about. Fairways are like the ocean - an ocean of rock and dry ground. What soft grass you can find is covered in goose crap. Greens are covered in dirt and more goose crap. Weekend round took 5+ hours due to slow play. Just not a fun golf experience.

Nice course. Good shape and friendly staff. No driving range though. There is one down the road but not on site.

While the greens were a little rough, the course overall was a ton of fun. Some great variety in shots are needed, and it's fairly priced. Overall we enjoyed the visit a lot.

The help from the pro shop was above and beyond. So helpful for specific needs for my father. Jim took the time to listen and make a plan that works for Dad. Thank you! Also, thanks to Sue Brown for her kindness in taking Dad out several times in 2022. You are a very special human and you are appreciated! xox

The day started off great. My boyfriend and I got paired with a lovely couple and everything was great. At hole 13 one of the older male staff members started following us and would stand at the top of the hole and watch us. Both me and the other female we were playing with immediately stopped golfing. This went on for probably 4 holes before one of us approached him and asked why he was following us. He advised us that we were not playing fast enough and play time is 4 hours. Our tee time was at 2:50, we were not playing slow at all. We finished at 6:59. I think the worst part was, instead of…

Be prepared for issues if you’re a young adult or a non member. Came here to play 18 holes, but at hole 7, the group of 4 behind us complained that we were too slow, well lemme tell u, we were “slow” because we had to wait for the 2 players in front of us and we had push carts vs the 4 men with golf carts shooting from yellows, well of course they’re gonna catch up faster?! The marshal came over requesting us to either leave because we weren’t fast enough for the members behind us OR join the 2 strangers in front of us. We finished at 9, he then escorted us on his golf cart back to our car. Ve…
