In summary

Arcadian Shores Golf Club is generally appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and well-maintained greens and fairways, offering a classic course layout with some challenging holes. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions such as dried-out patches on fairways and sanded greens, as well as strict enforcement of rules by course marshals. There are also concerns about the treatment of players with disabilities and occasional negative interactions with pro shop staff.

Greens were sanded so balls skided vs. rolled. The fairways were a mixed bag with many dried out patches and one that looked it was used as a dirt bike trail - pic below. The tee boxes and bunkers were in good shape. The back 9 had a few memorable holes. However, the front 9 was repetitive with many holes similar in length and layout from the white tees. Service in the shop and on the course was friendly and good. Pricing is reasonable for the area. Arcadian Shores is a decent first round if playing several rounds on holiday, it just won’t be the most memorable.

This was my first time playing golf at Myrtle Beach. I picked the course at random. I was not disappointed! The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. I was grouped with another gentleman and a couple. We started right on time and moved through the course at a good pace. Considering the snow and cold weather a few weeks ago, the course was in good shape. I really enjoyed the round!

A very popular course with the locals. Under $100 for green fees. Course is average difficulty with some water holes and occasional elevation. Fairways- good to very good shape Tee Boxes -very good to excellent shape Greens - were mostly excellent shape. All interactions with staff were great and no problems.

Overall fun experience. Greens were in great shape fairways and tee boxes not so much. Front nine winter rye coming in so tee boxes hadn’t been cut yet and it was like hitting out of the rough. Older course pretty easy layout for most part with a couple scenic holes with water.

For those players with a physical handicap and needing a cart with a handicap flag allowing them some consideration(s) to be able to play the course, this is the worst course in Myrtle Beach to play ! And I've played them all. Absolutely could care less about helping a disabled golfer to play the course. Including Pro Shop personnel's attitude telling you they do not care whether you are handicapped or not !

Quite playable with a few longer, challenging holes. I struggled between a 3 and a 4 rating. Not overly scenic, more of an older traditional course. Seemed as though few golfers bother to fix their divots on the fairways, landed in a few. Definitely would play again.

The course is nice enough, greens were in good shape, and there were some challenging holes. But the Marshalls are militant when it comes to rule enforcement. And I'm not even talking about keeping play moving along (no one wants to be stuck on a 6 hour round) but their ridiculouslessness when it comes to no outside "beverages." The good news is once you get out on the course it's definitely possible to make things work in your favor in that regard. I probably won't go back just because there are too many other nice courses to play and don't want to have to worry about walking on eggshells whi…

Course was in great condition for this time of year, staff was helpful and gave straightforward instructions on where to go. I'm glad I decided to go and if I'm back in Myrtle Beach, would definitely golf here again.

Wanted to give a fresh review to this course. We used to love to play it, very well kept but had issues with rangers harassing us the whole round. Finished the round under 4.5hours, eventually had to wait behind groups that had started on the back the nine. Will not be back to this course.

Course in poor shape. Rough is so long even 1 foot off the fairway you cant find your ball. We were a 4 some of senior golfers following a 3 some of younger golfers and the ranger complained to us 4 times in 2 holes that we were not keeping up with them. Imagine that, a 4 some not keeping up with a 3 some. Not only that, he was extremely rude! Came down from Michigan to enjoy some golf and this ranger bozo totally ruined it for us. Was no fun golfing at this course at all. Way to many other great courses here in Myrtle Beach to play. Don't waste your time on this one.

We had an excellent golf outing at Arcadian Shores. Conditions were great along with great pace of play. We were fortunate to be paired with Mike and Jim that day, who are two Arcadian Shores Golf Club employees, who shared their helpful knowledge of the course. Staff was super friendly!
