In summary

Beachwood Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course conditions, friendly staff, and good value for money, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers a pleasant layout with some challenging obstacles, and the amenities, including a grass driving range and a beverage cart, enhance the overall experience. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about the pace of play, particularly during peak times, and inconsistent customer service, which detracted from their visit.

Had a really great time playing decided to go with this course as it was half the price of the top end we were considering. Glad that we did. We started before 7 AM and got done just over four hours. We were the second to tee off. Then there was split teatime so Folk started on the back nine mid morning and the course was filled up yet it moved quick enough. The staff was great. The course was in good condition. The greens rolled good. The sand bunkers were an excellent condition and had been maintenance the morning of. Overall, just an excellent experience. I can see why some people would ra…

My first time playing here/Myrtle Beach. It’s a decent course. Greens are faster than they look. In good shape. My only negative is that they pack you in back to back on tee times so you do a lot of waiting. 7 minute tee times isn’t ideal at this course.

Good course but this was the worst backup I’ve ever experienced on a golf course. Seemed like they let groups out off the 10th tee in the middle of a busy morning with tee times already closely spaced. As I write this we are thru 14 holes and already at the 4 hour mark. Should not happen.

This used to be our “go-to” because of the convenience of the location, but after plunking down the annual fee today for “Friends of Beachwood” I can say we will not be back, and the money lost will be a good reminder of the negative experiences the last few times there. Today the starter moved a group with time behind us and paired them with group in front of us and when it looked as though we were going to be at least 1/2 hour late on our booked tee time we left. I just did not have 6 hours to spend there today or ever again!

My wife and I played Beachwood Golf every Christmas Day for the last 5 years and that course for pricing and quality is good . But this year something happened, greens were in bad shape, bare spot of most of them with way to much sand. Many greens bunkers was in repair. At least when we booked our tee time staff should advise us and offer reduce price.

OK course. No frills, very flat. Pretty good condition, greens rolled nice. Layout was a little basic. Overall, not a bad course and good price-point.

Great. I loved this course. I came to myrtle to golf. I used used this course as a "warm up" for TPC the next day. This course was not only more challenging in terms of water and hazards, it was in better condition and the staff was friendlier, not that TPC wasn't, but this was more local, friendly type. Anyway, I'm gonna try to walk on and hitn9 before I leave tomorrow morning Edit: I'm see all the negative reviews about pace of play, it took me 3:15 to play 18 here. This was a 3:30 start time, but if you don't like it, go later in the day for cheaper prices and quicker play

Nice public course. Doesn’t feel like it’s right off of the highway after the first hole. The scenery is nice to look at with some challenging obstacles. My only complaint is that the tee boxes and driving range grass were not very well kept, though this may have been because of playing in the afternoon. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Definitely a fun public course to play a round!

Course is in great condition. Replay rate at $40 is hard to beat for value. Beachwood seems to genuinely care and it shows!

Disappointed with this course. Starter told me it was “cart path only” and yet I witness half of the golfers ride in the fairways as the other starter told them separate information. Maintenance crew has zero ability to recognize golfers are on the course and left pins out of the hole and sat in mowers in the center of the fairway. Some even blasting music from their phones even while I’m at the green standing next to them. Greens are poorly maintained and inconsistent. A shame so many people get tricked into playing this course. Really hope some changes are made for the sake of future golfers…

We had a fun time...Great staff, on time, well run...If your group is looking for a relaxing round at a conventional course that's not all tricked up this is the place...We were guys in our mid 70's playing the recommended silver tees...It was the correct choice.
