In summary

Ashwood Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, engaging layout, and friendly staff, with the added benefit of a good driving range and restaurant. However, some visitors express concerns about the condition of the sand bunkers, stray golf balls posing a risk to nearby areas, and occasional issues with course management, such as cart rental policies and course maintenance. Despite these issues, the course is generally seen as a fun and challenging experience, particularly for its value and location in the high desert.

Great course, a bit short only a par 65 I believe, and no par 5’s. The fairways are well taken care of. The lay outs of the holes are fun. The sand bunkers are a bit rough more dirt than sand. Over all I had a great time and would definitely recommend you play it.

This course is amazing as usual. From the three different 9 holes you can play, to the awesome driving range and restaurant. Be careful going midday, as it will be hot, but if you can bare the heat, its worth it.

This golf course is dangerous to the public. My car should not of been dented by a golf ball while drive down the street. Let alone nobody answers the phone. Scary to think what if one of these stray balls hits a small child.

I made reservations a 9 hole game for my wife's birthday, it's only our second time playing in about 15 years, trying to get back into it. I was hoping to get there early enough to get some practice time in but it didn't happen even though we had a blast and got some practice time after a great place.Great atmosphere love coming here

There's three 9's here set within a retirement community, there isn't any par 5's, it's shorter par 4s and 3's, it's got some tight fairways, but very playable and fun. The maintenance here on the fairways, greens, and tee boxes is first rate, it's actually better than quite a few upper end courses in So Cal, the greens are actually some of the best I've played which is amazing for the high desert. The only thing keeping me from rating this 5 stars, is the pebble filled bunkers and rough outside the fairways has a lot of dry spotty grassless areas, which is understandable because of the wind a…

Great little gem up here in the high desert. For being recently punched the greens were in great condition. The course was fun yet still challenging with long rough and tons of bunkers. We were able to hold a work meeting for breakfast then enjoy a round after we were wrapped up. Stan and his kitchen staff make a killer breakfast burrito. Only real critique I had was some strange tee placements over areas that were obviously under repair.

Good course. Challenging, alot of hazards. Could use a marshall and make things a little less chaotic. Needs some order on which courses you play.

A great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. The only true practice facility in the high desert, all grass driving range 2 putting greens and a dedicated chipping area.

Course is in good shape. Why are the rocks not being raked out of the bunkers and replaced with sand, not dirt. It's really an easy fix. For what you charge for alcohol, should be more than enough to cover the cost of doing this.🤔

My three grandsons made a reservation by phone at Ashwood, , they are 16,15,14 . They showed up on time and were refused the service they reserved, were told they could not get a cart due to their age, my 16 yr old has a drivers license to drive on the streets but not eligible to drive a golf cart I guess, it was very hot (102) that day and the worker in the pro shop said “ your gonna have to walk it” stating that it would they have had problems with teens in the past ! the boys had on proper attire, and have actually paid there in the past for golf lessons, since they had already paid for the…

You guys need to put a big net up or something by Jess ranch lakes. The amount of golf balls that have hit people and fly by close to me. You guys have a lawsuit waiting to happen. Mind you there’s golf balls all over the lake.
