Green Tree Golf Course

I consider green tree golf course as my home course. Very centralized location, only takes a 10-15 minute drive from anywhere in the Victorville area. Well maintained fairways and greens, bunkers are dirt, so hit it straight. Fun, laid back, vibe with a fairly quick pace of play. Staff in the pro shop are always very helpful and friendly. No driving range yet, but there are two practice greens that are good to get some reps in before you're round.

I’ve had generally good experiences at Green Tree Golf Club in the past, but my repeated interactions with the golf pro, Gary, have consistently been unpleasant. He often comes across as smug, dismissive, and belittling. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was by far the worst. I booked a tee time for Sunday, February 1st at 10:30 a.m. for myself and a friend, and there were many tee times still available that morning. We requested an additional golf cart since our wives were with us. Gary told us there were not enough carts available. I then offered to purchase an additional tee time so our w…

Great course, clean-cut fairways, and fast greens. Although the weather hasn't been great, the course is definitely looking great. The greens are acceptional, considering they had gotten punched a week ago. Dirt is to be expected on the course due to the "drought" and location of being in a desert. Wish other players would rake the traps after themselves.

My buddies and I had a great time. The course is challenging and their greens are top notch! The course marshal was super friendly and gave us great pointers about the layout of the course and hole we were on. We will definitely be coming back soon!

We had a great time today! The manager was great. Processed our expired Groupon without issue. Course was great. Bathrooms could use some attention, but they did have TP! SECRET: Remember hole 7 is disguised as 16!

Friendly staff. Wer got a short description and tips for playing the course for an employee. Course has no water and is average to play. Nice layout and wide fairways. Greens are good and fast.

It’s been 10 years since I played this course. Maybe the last time they had a maintenance crew. By far the worst maintained course I’ve ever played. I’ve seen abandoned courses that were in better shape. Friendly staff cannot overcome the embarrassing conditions.

Don't believe the negative reviews on this course. Challenging layout, greens were incredible, rolled smooth, fast, and plenty of break to challenge my ability. Brand new ezgo carts. A little wet in some areas and bunkers need some work and groom. The value of playing this course was far more rewarding than playing somewhere else at double the price. We will make the 80-mile trip again for this little gem. The staff - Gary and Dino - were very courteous and welcoming. Will get even better after the clubhouse is completed.

Turned away on a Wednesday afternoon because there were “no accommodations” [carts and tee times] and “I should have known better to call on a tee time” rather than book on the online reservation system that is offered and advertised. I was barely offered a hand written I Owe You after requesting a refund for a round of golf that I never played because of lack or resources this course had on hand.
