Aspen Lakes Golf Course

Overall, and most importantly, everything went perfect on our wedding day. The venue is absolutely stunning, and you can't beat the view. The food was amazing as well! The staff followed our schedule perfectly and got everything right. They even did the Cupid Shuffle with us! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was due to communication. To my knowledge, Aspen Lakes only has one event coordinator for all events, including weddings. Because of this, sometimes it was difficult to receive responses to my emails because their coordinator is so busy! Other than that, everything was perfect…

The course is a really nice one, great layout and fun to play. However, the greens were not good overall. We played in October, greens still had not recovered from snow mold or other winter kill from the previous winter or two. Or they were newly rebuilt greens and had not had enough care. In any case, charging full price for putting on greens that left a plume of sand behind a rolling ball, or having to putt through greens that looked like ground under repair... wasn't a good experience. I had my wedding at Aspen Lakes on 7/20/2025. The venue is everything I wanted and more- the light lodgey feel, with the impeccable mountain views, the string lights, the patio, bar, perfection. They were easy to work with from food, to drinks, to table settings, and clean up. The staff was THE BEST! They danced with us and blended right into the fun. Thank you for proving the most beautiful space for the most special day.

Not good . Tried to play late September, a late afternoon tee time. No one else on the course. Walking. Rain started on the 4th hole, heavy lightening on the 5th. Crazy dangerous. Walked back through the rain to the clubhouse and asked for a raincheck, not for the rain, but for the lightening. Not a refund but a same time, midweek afternoon raincheck. Pro shop gal said..."No go". $125 lesson learned. I won't go back. Aspen Lakes cares more about their dollars than their customers. Sent Aspen Lakes a handwritten note on this and they did not respond.

Great course, not too challenging but just enough. Course was in really good condition. Price was reasonable and would definitely play again. Temperature was cold with flurries coming down but didn't feel bad at all.

Excellent course. Beautiful scenery greens are perfect. Fairways nice. Couple bunkers flooded with water. Just a great time. I will be back. If your in the area go play this course.

As a local, I was excited to play Aspen Lakes for the first time this summer. I played two rounds and will not be returning. The greens, tee boxes and bunkers are in terrible condition. Aspen Lakes, you should be embarrassed. I wouldn’t pay 1/3 of the price to play your course again. With so many great options in Central Oregon, you just need to do better. I suspect you’re not offering a high enough wage to find good course management in the area. Wake up.

Aspen Lakes is a challenging golf course with beautiful views of 3 Sisters mountains. I was 1 under on the front 9 before a thunderstorm ran me out of there. I wish I could have completed the round to see my true 18 hole score would have been.

Wow. This course used to be great, but after two rounds this year (one in spring and one in summer), I can say they have completely lost any interest in maintaining it. Greens are terrible and look to be diseased. Tee boxes aren't reseeded. GUR all over the place but none are actually under repair. Sad to see this beautiful course be in such disrepair. I won't return.

Very disappointed! This has always been a favorite stop. I have been playing it for 25-30 years. The greens are almost unplayable. What happened? This course needs new management. I hate to say it cuz i have always loved this course but i wont be back.

My wife & I highly recommend Aspen Lakes for your wedding! We were married here in September 2025. Kelly and her staff are absolute professionals. Working with Kelly over the last year was so easy and smooth! She answered all of our questions and helped plan out everything to meet our needs. The money you will spend here is WELL worth it! The food was delicious! Our guests still tell us how much they enjoyed it, lol. The lodge is beautiful and the views are even better. We are so happy we chose Aspen Lakes! 5 stars!

The greens are absolutely wrecked. You can’t be charging $120 for 18 w/ cart for conditions that are sub par. I did really enjoy the course layout and the views but the greens made it very disappointing. Just be warned before you go….
