In summary

Rivers Edge Golf Course is appreciated for its picturesque setting, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with particular praise for the helpfulness of certain team members. However, some visitors express concerns about course maintenance, including issues with greens and fairways, and inconsistent customer service experiences. The course's policy on cart usage and the condition of rental clubs also receive mixed feedback.

Great layout and would recommend to anyone visiting this area. I played on a Thursday in July and there was not cart person. I would recommend not renting clubs from the course due to them being generic and not maintained. 7-7-25...Killed some time at the driving range. Plenty of room. Looking forward to my Thursday tee time. 7-10-25. Course was in great shape. Four hours to play (absolutely not complaining).

Carson provided absolutely outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, his hospitality and professionalism stood out. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that we had a great experience. It’s clear he truly cares about the people he’s helping and takes pride in his work. Carson is a fantastic representative and face of River’s Edge Golf Course. Thank you, Carson, for making our visit so enjoyable—we’ll definitely be back!

1 week ago Thought the course layout was good. Course has an infestation of chipmunks and ground moles with holes everywhere. If we saw 10 we saw at least 100 scurrying everywhere. There was animal feces on many tees. Course condition was poor with dead areas on many greens and fairways. It was obvious that the course isn’t cared for. It was the second time in 50 years of playing that I walked off after 9 holes. The staff refused a full refund for my wife and me for the 9 holes we didn’t play. Pretty unhappy with this experience!!

Played 9 holes at 5pm and it cost $65 per person. We thought we would splurge and expected the course to match the price. DEFINITELY DID NOT. Upon arrival in the golf shop, I wasn’t greeted by the service rep, he just asked when our tee time was. As well, he wasn’t friendly, didn’t direct to me the cart I should take, nor where the first tee time. As a former golf sales manager, I wouldn’t be pleased if this was the first interaction my guests had. There were signs everywhere noting that carts weren’t allowed in the parking lot, but there was no one manning bag drop. Lastly, the course was in…

I really like this place, everyone is so friendly and there are so many challenging greens that are so much fun. I left my Bluetooth speaker (Blue tees) in the cart this morning and I still haven't found it. I hope whoever took it will return it to the office.

The River's Edge offers a picturesque golfing experience for enthusiasts. Its stunning views of both the mountains and the city create a memorable backdrop. The course provides a challenge that seasoned golfers will appreciate. At the same time, it ensures a fun and engaging game for everyone. You'll surely enjoy your time there.

Sharing some feedback about my son’s experience at your course today. He is 17, drives a truck responsibly every day, and came excited to play a full round of 18 holes after work. Unfortunately, he was denied the ability to rent a cart due to being under 18. While I understand there may be liability concerns, the end result was that he paid for 18 holes that he likely could not finish on foot. From a parent’s perspective, this feels unfair. My suggestion is that courses consider allowing a parent or guardian to sign a waiver of responsibility for a licensed driver under 18. That would create…

This golf course has undergone remarkable transformations since the homeowners purchased it! In particular, the past year has been nothing short of spectacular. My husband and I golf here at least three days a week, and it’s simply breathtaking! If you’re visiting Bend or a local who hasn’t been in a while, you must check it out. You won’t be disappointed. I even walk my one-year-old through the 18 holes, and he absolutely loves seeing all the wildlife, especially the deer. You should really check it out!

This is probably top 5 worst courses I’ve ever played. The condition of the course is an embarrassment and if I were the GM I would find a new profession. It’s a fun layout sure, but seriously guys? Do you care to repair or even maintain the greens. Carts are falling apart, greens are harder than concrete and bumpier than punched greens. Tee boxes are damaged beyond belief and unlevel. If you’re thinking of playing here do yourself a favor, don’t waste your money because I wish I could get mine back. Play a better course like aspen lakes or eagle crest, you won’t regret it

Fantastic course, restaurant wasn't the best. Ice cold hot dog and unenthusiastic staff. Gorgeous greens and fairways

Loved our round of golf at River's Edge. Our family of 4 played best ball and the pace of all groups was good. Marshall was very nice and inviting and drink cart was timely. We ordered hotdogs at the turn we're ordered via the QR code in the cart. Overall our kids and my wife and I had a great time, next time we're in Bend, we'll be back!

Honestly a difficult course due to the change in elevation. But the two stars come from lack of direction or signs to point you towards the next hole unlike any other course I have played. The greens were a lil messed up. The cart girl was probably the best experience, she was frequently showing up like the most I’ve ever seen from any other course. Like I said just getting completely lost in where to go was ever so frustrating. The fairway had so many divets and random spots of just messed up patches.
