Old Back Nine Golf Course

We had a special event with some unique requests. Everyone at The Old Back Nine were incredibly accommodating and kind. They made the event better than we could have imagined. The course being in fantastic condition was an added bonus. Thank you so much to The Old Back Nine and their incredible staff!

We went to Opening Day for 2024 and were really impressed with the changes and TLC management has put into the course over the off season! Tees boxes and fairways are sharply defined. The greens have had new sod laid and look excellent! It absolutely looks like they have put time, effort, and passion into making the course a must play for all levels of skill!

I'm a legit golf course snob. I'm lucky and get to play all of the nicest courses around central Oregon. I have avoided this course for the better part of a decade. The course has been looking really good from the street. So, I decided to play this afternoon. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't your place. The carts are old but have GPS. The course is in excellent shape. Tees are nice, so are the greens. The layout is tight in spots, but there are some cool, interesting holes. Some people assume this is a short course. Just played a round and I couldn’t be more impressed with the turnaround from last season to now. The course looks great! I almost didn’t come back after last year and the horrendous condition the greens were in. One hole wasn’t even on the green and just a hole dug in the ground with a cup. Whatever they did in the off season has me coming back!

The views and course are quite beautiful and our early morning tee time in the beginning of Oct was a great in that it wasn’t busy, but the course was not in the best shape. There were 2 temporary greens, and a few of the others were soaked and puddles abundant. For the price, it was decent. I’ll be back and hopefully on a dry day.

The course is in good shape! We scheduled last minute tee time and had a blast. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Can’t recommend this course enough. It’s challenging and has some nice scenic views. Greens were looking great too!

Our experience at this course was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We arrived an hour early for our tee times and still teed off 20 minutes late due to delays caused by the groups ahead of us. Despite that, our pace of play was reasonable and we were well within the expected time to finish our second 18. Out of nowhere, we were approached rudely by staff, given no prior warning, and told we were being kicked off the course for playing too slow. The tone was unnecessarily aggressive and condescending, and we were offered no opportunity to explain before being forced to leave — even…

Great little course. Definitely need to hit em straight and the greens can be a little challenging. The course is very well kept. I sure hope they get the other 9 figured out one day.

What a Great experience at Old Back Nine today. The conditions were awesome, what a gorgeous course. The putting and chipping greens are pristine too. The staff is fantastic and helpful. I'm a beginner and they were all so friendly and got my husband and I out early so I wouldn't feel rushed. Thank you for making my 4th experience on a course so enjoyable. We live out of state, but we'll be back. 10 out of 10 stars!

I like this course. Relaxed play and affordable. Great course for youth. Staff is always wonderful. I wish they had a driving range but oh well.

Fun short course that is never easy! Fairways and greens are in the best shape I’ve ever seen them! Highly recommend this as a good place to play outside for two hours!
