In summary

Sunriver Resort is highly praised for its beautiful and peaceful setting, offering a range of amenities such as heated pools, hot tubs, and a variety of dining options, including the well-regarded Lodge Kitchen. Guests frequently commend the excellent service and friendly staff, as well as the comfortable accommodations with features like fireplaces and stunning views. While the resort's expansive grounds are appreciated, some guests note the car-centric layout and icy walkways during colder months as minor inconveniences.

This Sunriver Resort is one of the accommodation partners for Mount Bachelor Ski Resort and we choose this because it has a great package for daily breakfast at the in-house Lodge Kitchen restaurant. There are heated pool spas both indoor and outdoor, and a bar that serves food and drinks. This place is huge and feels spacious everywhere we go. We walked the 5miles river loop paved trail and it was tranquil with beautiful views. Service was excellent and every staff we encountered was friendly and professional. For dining, we drove a few minutes to a Village community that has a few restaurant…

Darlings, if you’re seeking the ultimate escape where nature herself rolls out the red carpet, then prepare to be utterly enchanted by Sunriver Resort in glorious Central Oregon. Oh, the approach alone is a symphony of splendor! As you glide through those graceful roundabouts, a charming little waterfall greets you like an old friend, ushering you into a world of manicured elegance stately homes, emerald golf courses flanking both sides, and the majestic silhouette of Mount Bachelor reigning supreme in the background like a crowned monarch. Deer, elk, and geese roam freely amid the whispering…

Luxury resort with great amenities and amazing service! Played pickleball at indoor center on our first night and met some fantastic staffs. Second day caught a fever (probably from mt. Bachelor ski resort) and called front desk around 10pm, received otc pain reliever in 3 minutes. Waiters at Kitchen Lodge (Myline and others) were amazing too, dishes were impeccable with great varieties. Would definitely come back again!

We stayed in The Lodge Village King Suite. It was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Lots of space. Kitchen, dining table, couch, big screen, fireplace & deck on the first floor. The loft has a King bed, big screen & nice bathroom. We took the free shuttle to the Village and had dinner & drinks and texted the shuttle a couple hours later for a ride back. We sat in the hot tub for 45 min in the snow (we had it to ourselves). The next morning we walked behind the main Lodge and saw a huge herd of elk laying nearby. It was a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

Over and above service. The first night we arrive we needed a little assistance with the TV streaming and gas fireplace, and the young man that came to help us went over and above, and even brought back chocolate after a joking request. The spa was also delightful, even though it was relocated temporarily, and the views were gorgeous, and we got to enjoy a little bubbly on the back patio in the sun in February! Overall wonderful experience

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sunriver Resort for a conference in early October. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Lots of deer roaming around. I was in L228. It was on the ground floor with parking directly in front, but you did need to go up four steps. Something to be aware of if booking the first floor for accessibility. An easy fix would be to replace those steps with a ramp. The two bed room was cozy with a lovely patio overlooking the golf course. Beds were super comfy. The fireplace was an awesome touch. But the closet and desk were a tight squeeze. The service was first c…

Stayed here for a conference. Room was very nice, very clean. Beautiful view from my room. Lots of parking during the off season. I want to shoutout Casey at the front desk who helped me after I checked out. Realized I lost my earring, so he went to the room to look for it. The room has already been cleaned, so he helped me fill out an “I lost my stuff” form so that housekeeping could be on the lookout in case they find it. Awesome they do that. Even if they don’t find it, I still appreciate the attention to it! Great customer service, really appreciate Casey’s help!!

I normally don't write a review at the beginning of my stay but the check in experience was the best I've ever had. This is the first time staying at the resort, although I've stayed in Sunriver multiple times. The two women that checked us in were literally the nicest people ever (I will update this review at the end and try to track down their names). The room is BEAUTIFUL! We got a pet friendly suite across from the pool and couldn't be happier! We explored today by walking into town. My 8 year old son said that the bathrooms in the lodge were 5 star! 🤣

Overall: The main lodge is very nice and cozy. We loved the Christmas decorations, large fireplace and gingerbread house village. However the grounds of the resort are massive and very car-centric. We spent each day driving between our room, the pool and the main lodge (due to the cold and dangerous icy walkways - they don’t seem to be sprinkling salt on the sidewalks). Even getting out of the car at the parking lot can be quite slippery. Pool: The morning is a much better time than the afternoon which gets noisy and crowded with kids playing. There are one or two quieter outdoor hot tubs loc…

Sunriver resort has the best customer service around! We booked a condo on the premises of sunrise River resort, not knowing that they are independently owned. The condo was less than livable. Jen and Ben were so accommodating and so helpful. They arranged another room for us at the actual resort/hotel and helped us to get some money back from our prior reservation of the condo. I would highly recommend this resort as our room at the resort hotel was gorgeous! Carson was also extremely helpful as well! Not knowing his shift had just ended, he shuttled me to the local store and back. You will n…

We loved our stay here so much we are already thinking about when we could come back!! The staff is wonderful and the property is just stunning. Our room had a fireplace in it and we spent many hours by the fire reading and looking out at the views. We also loved that this is part of a community with wonderful walking trails through it.
