In summary

Atlantic Country Club receives praise for its well-maintained course conditions, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with some visitors highlighting the good value for the price. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding customer service, particularly with online booking issues and staff interactions. Some players also mention dissatisfaction with certain business practices, such as early course closures and strict rules, which detract from the overall experience.

Only played 9 holes due to a cold, windy day, but enjoyed the course. Would definitely return next time we are in the area.

Gave Atlantic a try after seeing good things on the internet. The course is meh. Conditions are pretty decent. Fairways were in good shape, and the rough was heavy for the first few feet. The greens were slow and not smooth. The layout is incredibly challenging, especially if you’ve never played it before. Picking the right line off the tee can be tough, and even if you hit it perfect good luck getting a flat lie in the fairway. Pace of play was just shy of 4 hours. The course was empty for a Thursday afternoon, maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. At $68 bucks, I’m not sure the value is all that…

The previous ratings of this course don't do it justice. Greens, fairways, and teeboxes were all in fantastic shape. Layout is unique, but admittedly pretty challenging, especially some pin locations and rolls on the green. With that said, everything about the course was well-maintained, staff was friendly, and pace moved pretty well. For the 18 plus cart price, I think Atlantic is a much better deal than some marginally better courses in the area that are $20+ more per round.

Played 3/30 spectacular conditions. I do play here couple times of year and never seen the conditions so consistently good. The only down fall is the after golf banter due to lack 19 hole with great potential with the back deck over looking beautiful 18th hole. As Schwarzenegger say’s. I’ll be back!

Love the course but you have the worlds worst online tee time system... Golf Now is the worst company I have ever delt with for tee times and refunds. I've been waiting for 12 days for a refund caused by the course closing for rain. I don't know why you settled for Golf Now when there are so many better companies out there, such as ForeUp or Book Now Software.

Course not bad poorly run. Guess when you get enough play you can charge a good amount and not care about golfers. Driving range closed one guy said rain other guy said ball machine broke. Try to use putting green cant just sprayed on Friday morning prime time prime price. Some guy selling raffle on 11th hole would not shut up. Held up whole course over 3 hrs on back. Tried to email course undeliverable . Many better courses that treat you much better.

Made the trip down to Atlantic CC yesterday and was informed at check- in that my on-line reservation was incomplete... even though I had a summary statement for the reservation. But even more disappointing was the manner in which I was treated by the staff in the clubhouse, who made every excuse they could to not honor the transaction or to work out some solution. No need to worry about me darkening your door ever again. Thanks for nothing! Sincerely, Paul Tully

4 mins from my house and perfect place to play on short notice. Except… you can’t play 9 holes (cart or walk) after 4:30 PM (***mind you, summer when sun sets after 8 PM). Was my local spot, twice a week golfer, until the 4:30 rule kicked in. Last straw today, when I was told I’m no longer allowed to bring my 3 year old, due to “course rules” (he rides in the cart, on my lap, and loves to watch his dad play). It was fun while it lasted, Atlantic, and I’m disappointed to say that I’ll be spending my money at other Plymouth courses from this day forward. Sincerely Disappointed, Alex. PS - Will…

Went to play 9 with my Dad and Dads friend, when we arrived at the course we were rudely approached and he was clearly aggravated we were going to play at 3 in the afternoon. We were 6 holes in and he chases us out on the course at 4:30 and once again very rudely tells us we need to come in when there was plenty on sun left. Good course but terrible service, do not golf here. Also this is the second time the same guy has been rude to us there before and after the round. He said his name was Bob Powers.

First-time visitor/player on 8/6/22. The course was in much better shape than expected, based on the current drought conditions. Greenskeeping crew keeping the greens cool and watered. Reasonable greens fees included a cart. Service was unexpectedly good: course tips from the starter, Carl (?), to a warm welcome at check-in from the pro shop attendant, Lauren, to a friendly smile and cold water from the bartender, Bri. Good customer service is harder and harder to find nowadays. Whoever hired and trained them, knows what he/she is doing. The only disappointment since it was extremely hot on Sa…

DO NOT PLAY HERE. Absolutely horrendous experience. The starter is a joke and to put nicely, a total “Richard”. We had a group 150 yards ahead and had the starter yelling at us to pick up pace on a Saturday at 1. Meanwhile it didn’t help the “members” behind us hit into us twice. If you’re going to play golf on a Saturday at a public course, expect it to be busy or play earlier. I will never play this course again and hope people spend money else where.

Bumpy and inconsistently paced greens along with a challenging layout make for a not so fun day on the course. It’s worth nothing that the few times I’ve played here this year, it’s been absolutely dead. Apparently they don’t offer 18 hole tee times in august after 230. Head down the road to the other courses in Plymouth and they’re packed til dark. That says something.
