In summary

Pine Hills Golf Club is widely praised for its exceptional course conditions, with both the Jones and Nicklaus courses offering well-maintained fairways and greens. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and professionalism, and the club's amenities, including the practice facilities and East Bay Grille, receive high marks. However, some visitors mention the high cost and occasional issues with customer service, while one review raised concerns about discrimination.

Pinehills is probably among the top 3 public golf courses in Massachusetts. Both Jones and Nicklaus are always in great shape and are fun challenging layouts. Wide fairways and well maintained greens and tee boxes. If anything, greens roll true but are not slick. Club and food is great, practice facilities are top notch and staff is very friendly and professional.

My first time playing the Nicklaus course and it did not disappoint. In fantastic shape (mid-October). Staff were excellent. We enjoyed lunch at the East Bay Grill as well as a couple cocktails and apps after our round. Looking forward to playing there again.

10/10 best public courses in Massachusetts. Great range, great bar. Both courses are challenging but fair. Green roll true, manicured to perfection. Carts have GPS. Of the multiple times I have been to each course I have never been disappointed. Staff is warm and inviting, always interested in hearing how you play. The East Bay Grille is delicious after a long 18. Would highly recommend Pinehills.

I played the Nicklaus Course today and it was magical. The fairways are nice and wide which allows you to rip driver often, the is a lot of risk and reward, if you have to skill to go for the greens. If you are in the area, play this course.

A TOP notch place to have a wedding! The staff knocked it out of the park. Kelli and her staff were professional, attentive & fabulous! Thank you for making our daughter’s wedding beautiful and magical.

I played the Jones Course from the tips and probably would’ve given it four stars if it was cheaper. The course is well taken care of, but it’s design felt very cookie-cutter. Pretty much a bomber track without any truly difficult or memorable holes. For the price I expected something better. I still think Waverly is the best in the area.

Great course in awesome condition. Played the Jones course and even though it felt slow we finished at 4:15 which is course recommended time.

I enjoyed the Nicklaus course although I was a little surprised by the amount of open divots on many fairways. The holes were diverse and visually pleasing. The pace of play was acceptable. The starter and the young man who took my bag when I arrived were congenial but the gentleman in the pro shop and the young man who cleaned my clubs were not very inviting. What impressed me most were the two gentlemen I played with who were members of the club, Jerry and Don. Very nice guys. Jerry explained every hole to me from the tees and both were very pleasant. We had some laughs about how cold and wi…

Played the nicklaus course. It is in excellent condition. A variety of different hole shapes. Greens are fast. Staff was great as well.
