In summary

Augusta Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful setting, and friendly staff. The club offers a variety of amenities, including dining options and event spaces, which are appreciated by members and guests alike. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the high cost of play for non-members and note issues with course features such as sand traps and yardage markers.

Nicest golf course around. Food is generally very good. As an event space it is now great since Tina has been replaced. Great and very easy wedding venue. Membership fees are reasonable for what you get.

Was driving by and stopped in to see if there were any openings on the tee sheet. The guy in the pro shop was quite patronizing. The first words out of his mouth were “absolutely not” and lectured me about how they were semi private and continued to give me a list of reasons why I wouldn’t be able to play despite the fact that I never asked.

Fairways and greens were in outstanding condition! Greens were cut close, fast and super smooth!

Beautiful course in the western foothills of Maine. Manchester is the home of the Augusta county club. Newly updated quiet carts and perfect Maine weather equals the perfect day.

We had the mother's day brunch. The selection of food was nicely done, carrots, green beans and salmon were not overcooked, lasagne was excellent, the seafood stew was very good. In the future be sure to include the spout tops to the salad dressing containers, 2 people in our parties had mishaps with large amounts of dressing spilling out rapidly and ruining the plate of food. We were the last sitting and it seemed there were very few desserts for the amount of people there at that time.

Fairways and greens are real nice. Distant markers on course could be much better, the sand in sand traps for paying 150 should be much softer and not so coarse. Saturday at 5 they shut down the lounge and bar so no food or drinks. Only place I’ve ever been in my life that shut down on a Saturday. They say because of staffing which is not acceptable. I talked with several upset members. If you gonna charge 150 you better provide. As is now it’s 75 a round at best.

Amazing place to hang out, play golf, eat, and even take a swim in the lake! I joined because my husband plays golf and I was initially interested in just being a social member, but I chose to go for the full membership. I’m so happy I did because I can play golf with my husband, play tennis with friends, attend events, and enjoy all the amenities Augusta Country Club has to offer. I also use the dining room to have meetings with clients. Great place to bring guests from out of town. As a 27 year old female, this spot is a great place to be and socialize. If you live locally, I highly recommen…

If you are not a member it is not worth playing here. It is highway robbery. $150 just to play a mediocre 5:30 round is not worth your time. The guy in front took 4 practice swings just to top it, then promptly did the same thing. Belgrade lakes is slightly more and a much better experience.

We had an excellent Dinner Meeting here on Sept. 20, 2024. Food was very good and the service was excellent. I would recommend this spot highly.

Definitely a golf corse trying to push out the public play - $150 dollars to play ! HAHAHA I’ve played some of the best corses in South Carolina , Arizona and in Vegas!! That might and are worthy of that cost , but not many !!! After a brain storm board meeting ,they voted and believe this corse is worthy of charging $150 for a round of golf and a cart !!! ((DEFINITELY NOT ))They are Definitely thinking they are better than they really are ….! With there -poor yardage markings, poor tee boxes, fair greens ,wide open fairways, no cart lady with drinks and food , no trash cans , no hole descript…
