Course is walkable, played 10/19/25 , on a good Maine Fall day, course was in good shape, for $75 to walk i don't believe is a value for this over rated course, I've played many Maine Courses and I believe this course has good conditions but what they charge for greens fees isn't worth it in my opinion, no real memorable holes, decent good condition track but nothing really exciting about the layout.

The course was in amazing shape, the greens felt like a 11 on the step meter! It was reasonably priced and there's a nice shak on the 10th hole.

Really enjoyed Waterville G.C.. Nice little surprise. Mountain course, Challenging but a fair layout. Good test of golf. Easy on the eye. Very nice condition. Greens,Fairways where in good shape. Sand was hard, little stones(pebbles) in bunkers/sand traps. A little different than what we play in SC.) Staff are very friendly. Overall , It was a great golf experience. Yes, All round for me. I’ll be back.

Was a very enjoyable time. The food was excellent. I had the rib eye with carrots and potatoes and my husband had the meatloaf with corn and potatoes. Potatoes was a little salty but ok. Fast service and great drinks. We had a good time.

This place is a quiet gem. We played on a beautiful summer day but it wouldn't have mattered. I love the layout, it was in beautiful condition especially the greens. This course offers plenty of challenge and a friendly environment. I will definitely be back.

Excellent course. Great range, friendly staff, good food and drinks. The course is one of the best-maintained in New England with some of the best greens you will find. Every day at Waterville Country Club is a beautiful day.

Five adults visited on 7/29/22. One ordered ribeye medium rare with fries and side salad. Very happy with meal. Four ordered lobster-stuffed haddock with mashed potatoes and green beans. The haddock was placed on top of a healthy serving of lobster but was severely overcooked and very salty. The mashed potatoes needed salt. We should have sent the meals back but tried to make do by ordering a bowl of lobster stew to moisten the haddock/lobster. The stew was full of lobster and good. It did not help the meal, however. The salads are always good and plentiful (1/2 size is enough even for a meal)…

Beautifully maintained golf course with a traditional layout. The clubhouse is nice with very good food. Highly recommend playing here if you get the opportunity as I believe this members only or semi private.

Great walking course and wonderful conditions. Not a long course, but yet very challenging with fast greens. Played after heavy rain and the course drained extremely well.

Very helpful and friendly staff! The owner came to greet us when we got in the hall for our reunion event. And the bar staff kept checking on us as well.

This has always been a great private course, and the Maine Amateur there today was worth the watching. Saw some old friends and followed the last group with Hayes and Plummer and there was a birdie on 15 by Hayes out of the fairway bunker that was one for the scrapbook. 130 or so yards to with 3 feet of the left side pin placement. Genteel crowd, only one rowdy, guess who. btw the phone # is wrong.
