In summary

J. W. Parks Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained and challenging nine-hole layout, friendly and helpful staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for golfers of all skill levels. The on-site restaurant, the Broken Putter, receives high marks for its quality food and welcoming atmosphere. However, one negative review highlights an issue with management and course navigation, suggesting room for improvement in customer relations and course signage.

Really well kept 9 hole course. We didn't have time to eat this round but plan on many more rounds. Pricing is reasonable with a cart and only 20 minutes from Waterville. I would also walk this course on a nice not so hot day. Good job with the grounds everyone!

This was an excellent golf experince! The woman running the the Broken Putter and the Pro shop was friendly, helpful, and super nice. She rented clubs, sold me a glove, set a tee time, made me drink, and never missed beat with the bar patrons. We stayed for dinner and had a great time. I highly recommend!

Nice golf course. My first time here.,Was not crowded when we went on a Saturday (9/21/24). Staff are very friendly and helpful. The course is nicely designed and green (GREEN, even considering the very dry spell we are currently in. I would return here for another round.

I played 9 holes on August 13th fir the first time while traveling through & found the course to be in excellent condition. From the tee boxes, fairways and greens, they were outstanding.& very well maintained! Compared to other courses that I've played in eastern Maine, this course is one of the very best I've played!

Would give 0 stars if I could. They just removed me and my 6 year old son because we missed a turn on the back and played an extra hole (before realizing our mistake and driving back, asking multiple groups where our proper tee was). Owner drove out and aggressively accused me of “trying to get extra golf in” and that we’d been “hopping around all day”. I was -2 with 3 holes left, and will never step foot on this property again. Rude owner, course is mid, avoid! If “many clubs” don’t allow Juniors before 8:30 (our tee time was 8:50 btw, so we were still on pace despite waiting on every shot)…

Great little golf course. The back nine is essentially a repeat of the front nine. Well kept course, great price for a round of golf with a cart and lunch. Club house is small but staff are super friendly and the lunch items are good.

My brother and his wife were visiting from North Carolina and we stopped by the Broken Putter for lunch. It was a nice day and we enjoyed our meals outside on the patio. Our server was very welcoming and pleasant. The meals were very good and the portions were generous. This is a nice place for a casual meal.

Made reservations for their Valentine's Day dinner and we were not disappointed! I had the lasagna with a side salad and garlic bread. My husband had prime rib. We finished up with a piece of carrot cake for me and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting for him. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. Every lady received a red rose. 🌹 The meal was reasonably priced and we loved it. Definitely going back again!
