In summary

Avalon Golf Links in Burlington is praised for its well-maintained course, scenic views of the Cascade Mountains, and a friendly, attentive staff. The 27-hole layout offers variety and challenges, with the South course being a standout for many. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional drainage problems, which can impact the overall experience.

Avalon Golf Links is a golf course in Burlington made up of 3 separate 9 hole courses. You can play a combination of them totalling 18 or even 27, and they even used to have an all you can play option but I didn't see that when we got there last time. It's pretty easy to get to, only right off the main road about a minute. They have a big parking lot but it's setup kind of weird with a bunch of one ways and slanted spots so it can be tough to get around. Inside, they have a clubhouse with a small store with your basic necessities as well as a little restaurant area with a bar. The pro shop emp…

Avalon Golf Links offers a scenic and well-maintained course with stunning views of the Cascade Mountains. However, the pace of play was disappointing, taking 5 hours to complete 18 holes. While the course itself is enjoyable, the slow pace can detract from the experience. It’s a great spot if you have the time and patience.

Course was in pretty good condition today (9-7-25) everything was well maintained, clean, free of debris between Fairways, trees and shrubs were well pruned and the grass was all cut proper- tee boxes were great, the greens were rollin pretty quick and held an approach shot well- bunkers even played decent (yes I found a few of those too) as reviewed by an amateur golfer- shot an 83 from the greens tee's on the west and south 9's

Why 5 stars it was relatively dry after so much rain. The course has always had a nice layout, but up here in the Northwet, I will now put this course of one of the few locations that doesn’t become a muddy mess.

Ok Avalon is one of the best courses around It has great scenery and course design. But the bunker lakes are getting out of hand I know its Washington, but when half the bunkers turn into water hazards that's bad. And when you have to play winter rule all year round to avoid hitting out of a puddle it's not great. But everything but the drainage is top of its class great course. I've played it many times and recomend playing south-north If it's your first time as it gives you the most viraiatiy and best veiws.

Excellent staff all around. The course was in good condition. They have Finn Bikes!! I played 27 holes on the bike and it was a blast! The chicken ceasar wrap from the Sweet Bite Cafe was the best I've ever had. I will be going back.

Spend an entire day hitting balls on some beautiful holes. It's strange while playing, you don't get a sense of where you are. It is a good thing. A person can stay focused. Worth the drive.

Played South/North trak. Good round. Easy to lose balls if off the fairway and some blind tee shots that facilitate this occurring more than I would like. They did have caddies at the ready and were I playing alone, I would take advantage of this - if only to work the course better. The downside is how tightly the tee times are booked (8/9 min?)... On a Tuesday!! We had to let a twosome play through on 3 and before 7, we had another group knocking on our back door. (We do not play slow!!) If they collect $100+ on a weekday morning, they should book 10 min minimum.

I have returned to Avalon every year. It holds a special place in my heart because this was the last course my father and I played before he passed. I love the 27 holes and all 3 courses are beautiful. Looking forward to returning next month.

Great course! Nice greens, interesting terrain. Good folks. No sand in the bunkers though just rock and hard pack. It's a shame as the course is so good otherwise.

Always a great golfing experience! Avalon has 3 beautiful 9-hole courses, which combined make for a great day on the links. I have been golfing here for over 25 years, and everything, from the staff, the layout, the views, the wildlife, to the conditioning is tops in the region! Greens are hand-mowed most of the year, in perfect shape, fairly fast, and the greenskeepers make sure that the courses are in excellent shape (with no frost/leaves on fairways/everything mowed) before they will open that particular 9. They have an all-you-can-play rate as well, which is well worth it in the summer if…

Golf course itself is very nice, but pro shop could use some work. Carts are reservation upon arrival, no big deal I put 2 carts in my reservation tee time. When we checked in first employee told us that I never put down carts for my reservation, I remembered I had so I went in to talk to pro shop again, and the next employee said he saw the carts in the notes but they couldn’t give us any due to having an event that day, and claimed they left me a voicemail telling me this. Checked my voicemail section on my phone and didn’t have any voicemails from them. So make sure there’s no events there…
