Had a 6:45 tee time, first ones on the course, what a beauty of a course. Well maintained, rough was a perfect height, greens were speedy but not out of control. There are a couple of rough spots on a couple of holes, but other than that, well worth the green fee. Highly recommend this course

A beautiful place, my Wife and I drove up From Halifax to Pickup our Great Granddaughter to spend a few days with us. Takes about a hour.

Poorly designed course. Every single Green is on a hard slope. It’s not a fun course to play.

Very nice golf course. Not a terribly difficult layout but very fast greens. Seems to be well maintained.

Beautiful course, Dean and team keep the tee boxes, fairways, and greens in amazing condition! Greens can be challenging, especially in the summer, but if you can putt here, you can putt anywhere! Last, but not least, the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Love Avon!

Beautiful course, friendly staff, play early if you're on a schedule, play late if relaxed. The course was very well kept, greens were fast. Some of the views on the far end of the course are well elevated and provide a stunning backdrop onto the mountains/hills nearby. You can tell the course receives a lot of well placed attention to detail. Everything was immaculate. The layout and difficulty of the course was great. Wide fairways to accommodate your worst slices, but tight greens/traps at the end to draw in some more precision shots. Some of the sand trap layouts are exceptionally well d…

I really enjoy playing Avon Valley and it was a toss up as to whether I was going to renew a membership from years ago or opt for a course closer to home. Closer to home won out. I would suggest, for anyone of my vintage (senior) to play this course, using a power cart is worth exploring because some of the up hill holes can be exhausting. Course is friendly and well maintained.

Actually a great hill for sliding in the winter. Park at the driving range on Falmouth back road and you will see a few people sledding most snowy days. There are no supporting services like restrooms so make accommodations as needed. The walk in is not maintained as well, so it can be difficult to walk up the path to the top of the hill if you're the first people to make the walk.
