Bakker Crossing Golf Course

I play ladies night almost every Tuesday and it NEVER 👎🏻 disappoints! Couples league is probably our favorite events of the summer!!!!! The greens and tee boxes are well maintained! And the ROUGH is ROUGH! A great place to improve, enjoy golf and have an outing with friends and family!

Thank you Mike for the new grass.by our house on #1 hole. It took 2 years for it to truly kick in to grow. I have posted some beautiful grass that you and crew have delivered to us all.

Championship course, very challenging and super windy, but TOTALLY worth it!

Great value for this course. It's large enough to challenge experienced players but can play to any skill level. The course is set on the open prairie so its a very open and windy design with various points of water and bunkers. Most of the course has well developed paved paths and the carts are well maintained electric carts. The clubhouse is great and offers an above average fitness center. As part of the GreatLife system it is very popular so do expect above average number of players.

Baker Crossing is a flat course carved out of the plains it covers. Few trees, a fair number of cricks and ponds to avoid and fighting 10-30 MPH winds. Well maintained and part of the local Great Life activity program allows free green fees and keeps the course very busy.

This is a very nice golf course. Both the front and back 9 are good for both beginners and accomplished golfers. There’s a driving range and a putting green for practice. The clubhouse has a concessions area, a virtual golf station, and a shop if you need some last minute gloves, hats, balls, etc. They have both push carts and driving carts, and a concessions cart driving around the course. It is a great life course.

Pros: Great clubhouse, nice workout area, good practice green and driving range. Very well kept and challenging course that is fun to play especially with all the work that has been done here the past couple of years! Can get very busy and tough to get a tee time depending on the time of year. (This sounds like a potential "con", rather than a "pro", but is a testament to the great course and staff.) Con: Out on the edge of town and not a lot of cover so tends to be more vulnerable to the South Dakota wind than many other local courses. If it is a really windy day, a tee time elsewhere mig…

Okay course very windy, busy, with plywood in the sand traps. Worst part about it is that they won’t let you play early in the morning and offer limited hours for their golf range. You must be able to play in the middle of the day in order to get use out of this course.

First time at the course. Challenging and fun. Would help to have some directional signs given the sprawling layout. Beverage cart made regular stops. Only complaint was that despite the signs at the clubhouse, no one seemed to be social distancing and very few masks on staff. Stay healthy people, if not for you then for your loved ones.

Beautiful course with large speedy greens. Pro shop employees were very friendly. It's about an hour away but happy to make the drive again.

I golf Baker's Crossing all the time the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I love the golf course for the simple fact that I can select a set of tees that suits my level of play and it makes the game a lot more enjoyable... I don't have any trouble at all getting on the golf course as a single even during the busy weekends and holidays.. once again the staff is willing to bend over backwards to accommodate anybody that wants to play they do a great job Course Maintenance is excellent as well

Baker Crossing has a new fantastic practice area for the short game scoring shots where you can perfect shots from sand or chip and pitch shots up to 110 yards and a practice putting green with realistic putts. This is a great improvement to the golf course
