Booked 2 tee times so we could play as a group of 6 but still made us get 4 carts and play separately. We were slower playing separate FYI

I return to SD annually for a visit, and 36 holes (in 1 day) with my college roommates from 1977-81. We always play Prairie Green for the 1st 18 (get that 1st tee time). Really enjoy the course, friendly staff, practice amenities, etc. Great place to eat next door. Course is always in excellent condition. Rates are very reasonable.

A Links style course, with plenty of opportunity to score, if you manage the course. But don't let the wide open space fool you, the rough will force you to lay up, or chance it with plenty of pot bunkers, ponds, and tall fescue all around the course. Not to mention all the houses along the course representing out of bounds. A tricky tester of a course.

The course is in great condition. Nothing like golfing in the early fall weather.

This is by far my favorite course to play since I moved here 4 years ago. The greens are very well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help. God bless the folks that drive that beverage cart around on those warm days. 5 stars just isn't enough!!

This course is fun, challenging, and very well maintained for a public course. The staff is great and I would highly recommend this course for anyone visiting or moved to Sioux Falls. Will play this course constantly!

Played golf here in August 2018 while visiting Sioux Falls. Nice course. In good shape. A little crowded, but that is expected on a weekend in a metro area during prime golf season. Had a great time.

Been on this golf course about twice, but didn’t play any golf so I got to carefully observe the terrain. It’s a decent golf course. The only drawback is that it is not apart of Great Life in Sioux Falls. The houses to the south of the golf course are very nice. 4/5 would play if I knew how.

It’s a shame that such a nice golf course has such terrible customer service. I think the golf shop employees actually hate golfers. The Prairie Green employees won’t do anything to try to make a customer’s experience positive. I’ve been disappointed at least the last 5 times I’ve tried to play there. If they are trying to encourage golfers to play elsewhere, they are accomplishing their goal. Unfortunate.
