In summary

Kuehn Park Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, making it a suitable and affordable option for families and beginners. The course layout, featuring a mix of par 3 and par 4 holes, is appreciated for its accessibility and quick playtime. However, some visitors have noted issues with unfriendly staff and slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

After reading the review from "Working with Lizards" that was posted 3 wks ago I just had to check this place out to see for myself the condition of this golf course. It's the opposite of what he posted. Course is Green all over except the driving range which is not irrigated so it's partially yellow. Fairways are nicely cut. Greens are very nice & plush and properly cut to a nice height. I'd play & recommend this place in a heart beat

I thought it was a great course! My son and I walked it due to it being wet. It was fantastic! We will definitely come back!

I’m a beginner and just called to ask a couple of questions about when would be the best tee times for a first time golfer in an effort to be courteous to other players and not be holding anybody up and Tom wasn’t particularly friendly or interested in helping me over the phone. He said weekdays in the afternoon would be best in my case, but when offering somewhat of an explanation of my skill level, he wasn’t interested in helping me explore what may work best for not only me, but those around me too. Instead he cut me off mid mid conversation simply asking for advice as a courtesy and said,…

I want to say it’s good short course for beginners to learn however the over booked tee times and unfriendly staff make it far from it, had guys waiting behind us while we were waiting for the guys in front of the guys in front of us to finish. And on the last hole an employee yelled at a first timer in my group for ALMOST hitting the club house.

rude staff, we were enjoying the time with our family and were asked to hurry up and told that if he’d have known we would’ve been this slow, we wouldn’t have been let out. such disrespect for some family trying golf for the first time. SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE!!

Great family course that is well kept. Everything was in great condition as well as clean! I went with my daughter as it's a great course for kids.

Love the golf course itself but was disappointed to learn the strange rules for the "iron" range. I guess they dont have enough grass for people to strike a ball off of so they installed one long strip of fake turf with no partitions and no give.

Nice little course. Only three par 4's and rest are par 3's. Good place to take a beginner. They have a driving range and usually you can get a tee time with pretty short notice, which in Sioux Falls is near impossible. Tee boxes, fareways, and greens are all in good condition considering the amount of traffic the course sees.

Great little 9 hole golf course - with 2 people it takes about 1.5 hours to complete, so it's nice for a quick round. The range is spacious enough and the practice green is good for kids and adults alike. The price is affordable and won't break the bank for multiple runs or bringing the family. There's also no reservations required so you can stop in to play as you like.

This is a great place to play a quick 9 holes, or learn to play the game. There are 3 par 4 holes, and they are very forgiving, the rest are par 3's. The only downside is the staff is the not the most friendly, but the course is fairly well cared for. It is easy to walk, and clubs, pull carts, and golf carts are all available for rental. Additionally, there is a driving range, chipping area, and practice putting green.

Almost 4 hours to play 18. I have been playing that course for over 30 years. Never played even close to 4 hours for 18.. Front 9 had 4 women in front of us. They all went to each players shot. 2:07 minutes. (Back 9) 1:50 minutes. 4 guys playing with three sets of clubs. Played Elmwood today in 3 :41.

Your prices for green fees and cart rental for an executive course seem high. 45 dollars for 18 w a cart. In addition your large bucket of range balls for 13 dollars is much higher than most courses charge. Especially for a city course that receives tax dollars already.
