In summary

Bay Hills Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, scenic layout, and friendly staff, with recent upgrades to the clubhouse and amenities like "The Overlook" enhancing the overall experience. The course is considered a good value, offering a pleasant golfing environment, particularly for beginners. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional maintenance-related disruptions, suggesting room for improvement in course management and communication.

Not your old Bay Hills. New local ownership has really turned things around. Course is in great shape with noticeable upgrades throughout including new bunkers. Definitely a must play if you’re in the area. The new 19th hole, “The Overlook,” is a great touch too… awesome deck views and a perfect spot to hang out after your round.

Horrible keep up pace. Took almost 6 hours to finish course, called to see if they could do anything and was just told it is what it is. For some reason they let 3 carts go in front of us. It’s a nice course but now realize why it was only 70 bucks to play. Even joined up with group behind us and they eventually left with how slow it was. Will not be going back.

Played Bay Hills course today, 10/7/25 and it was in excellent shape, fairways were green and the first cut just right, first cut not too high and the manicured greens must have been running 13 or 14 on a Stimpmeter for sure. Played 18 holes in 3.45 hours. Once the foursome of ladies finished ahead of us...it was smooth playing the rest of the round....bunkers were a tad rough and a course Marshall or Ambassador would be a good thing to keep up the pace of play. A great golf experience all the way around. B.Landry

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have my retirement party. The food, the staff, the views were all spectacular. They have made great improvements to the clubhouse. If you are looking for a venue to host a private event, consider Bay Hills Golf Club.

Played here in early October 2018. The course itself is Par 70 and not overly long. It was in decent condition but you get what you pay for (this course is reasonably priced). The club house is a bit sparse but service was friendly and the snack bar lady was very attentive. Not much for practice facilities and the outdoor deck was closed for remodeling. I would visit again because I consider it a feel good course where you have the ability to shoot well because it's not that long. If you find my review or photos helpful please give a thumbs up.👍

I have been visiting here once every year for a client event. The course is good and in a very good location. Good place to hold golfing events The club house is small inside but have good space for large group lunch etc events in the covered Patio. The course is surrounded by trees which keep the entinre area shaded and breezy most of the day.

Great local course with even better people involved. Have made major improvements over the last few years to course and clubhouse.. “The overlook” is a great spot to get food and a drink after the round.

I played there yesterday and witnessed all the work going on, which of course is long overdue. I'm looking forward to playing there more often this Spring/Summer as the grasses grow in.

The course was okay. Fairways nice and open. Tee boxes looked way better than the greens. Too much sand on the greens. Felt like i was putting on gravel. I don’t know if they forgot to blow them off or what. Also there are no hole markings or yardage markers on any of the holes. Half the time we just guessed what hole we were on. Definitely not $66 worth.

Amazing upgrades to the bar. Would be a great place to enjoy a Sunday full of football. When this course in good condition, like right now, its one of the most enjoyable public rounds in the Annapolis area.

The first 9 are being air aerated but the back 9 greens are great. Today the pace was super slow but the course is in good shape the fall just wish the price would be lower bc of the aerated greens.

The course was in good shape overall but the bumps and rough ride on and around the cart paths was horrible! I felt with all the sand on the greens the price should have been lowered. Forget putting on any of the greens. Newly renovated club house is a marked improvement. The gas carts are loud and certainly do not lend themselves to peaceful enjoyment.
