In summary

Bay Pointe Resort & Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic views, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with some visitors highlighting the course's hospitality and amenities. However, several reviews express dissatisfaction with the condition of the greens and cart paths, as well as a lack of water on the course, particularly under new ownership. While the club offers a variety of programs and membership options, some feel it no longer meets the expectations of a traditional country club experience.

Quiet place with nice greens. People were very friendly. Beautiful scenery

Probably one of the worst courses I have ever played on. The greens and tee boxes were just beaten to the ground.. I can’t even believe they would charge 60 to play? One of our golf cart gps looked like it was punched in. Obviously didn’t work. But was the only other cart to take. Would definitely find a different place to play.

Best kept secret in the Metro Area! Fun layout, with scenic views, great course conditions and greens, and good old-fashioned hospitality! Brand new golf carts are really cool, too. Offers yardage books and plenty of tee selections. Oh yeah, try their hamburger, its incredible!

Bay Pointe Golf Club in Brandon, MS has been family owned and operated since 1992. Brent Belton and his family have over 90 years combined experience in golf. More than that, the Belton’s are a Godly family and use Bay Pointe as a way to bring people of all ages to Christ regardless of where they are in their spiritual walk. There’s a weekly prayer meeting around 6 a.m. on the first Monday of every month, however Brent’s door is always open. The monthly prayer meeting is attended by staff, regular golfers and businesspeople on their way to work. These meetings are open to anyone seeking the Wo…

Course was in excellent condition. It’s definitely a challenging track for any level player. You must know your yardages and be straight off the tee or be prepared to be to take a penalty(s) shot. Overall, great track but the extra scenery could of been without....smdh👎🏾

I've never played a course with greens as bad as this golf course. Not just one or two greens, but all greens. They are basically dirt and patches of poa annua. I understand the place has just been sold to a new owner, fixing the greens should be priority number one. If you make a putt over two feet it's luck. The pic is representative of all greens..

For the price, it’s not a bad course. Fairways are hard, greens are nice, golf cart path is okay.

Greens are in really bad shape. Not what you would expect for $60. Course is pretty fun layout but the big kicker for me was no water on the course anywhere. With the MS heat you have to have water on the course.

Used to be nice course. Since the new owners took over. The greens suck and they’ll make it cart path only for absolutely no reason. Water jugs are always empty or hot. Also had to send my woman back to my house because they didn’t have enough carts. Then we had to wait 30 min for a cart. Dog water experience. Wouldn’t recommend anymore.

Sadly, Bay Pointe Golf & Country Club is nolonger family friendly or a "Country Club". The new owner is not reopening the pool this year and has made it clear that Golf is their priority. So, if you're looking for "Country Club" that is family friendly and has more than golf, Bay Point Golf "Club" is not it. Look at Castlewoods Golf & Country Club or others in the area that are invested all people and their community.

It is a fair price, and the old man in the pro shop are the stars. Course isn’t in good shape. Dead patches, dirt piles, what looks like the start of a new creek. The course is just not in good shape. It’s more surprising then anything because you could be a revolving internship at the turf grass school thats 100 miles away.

They're under renovation. All greens are full of sand like this.
