What People Say

In summary

Bayberry Hills Golf Club receives high marks for its well-maintained courses, challenging layouts, and scenic setting, with many players appreciating the overall golfing experience and friendly staff. However, there are recurring complaints about customer service, particularly involving a staff member at the front desk, which some visitors find detracts from their experience. Pricing and booking policies also receive occasional criticism, though the quality of the course itself is generally well-regarded.

Well, I was going to leave a scathing review about "Barb", but as I read through the existing reviews, I find that my POV is simply "par for the course". Hey upper management, tell Barbara it's time for retirement. Let your customer service FINALLY match the quality of golf course you present.

Great place to walk the bike trail which cuts right thru it. Round trip is about 2.3 miles. You can run your dog, off leash, without a problem. Runs parallel to the power lines which is a better run for the dog. Be careful as there is lots of Foxtail, which is dangerous to dogs!

Keep in mind this is the first google review i have ever written. And adding onto many of the other reviews about their customer service, I ran into this old lady everyone is talking about. First of all, i was a single just trying to walk on for a twilight round in August.. could not book as a single online (minimum of 2 needed for whatever reason). I have a 6:03 ETA to the course, last time on tee sheet is 6:00pm. She acts as if there is no world where I can book that time and walk a quick 9. Angry tone from the jump then just got angrier when i showed surprise to that idea. Said i was willin…

The golf course was in great shape, the staff was pleasant. The layout was challenging but didn't beat you up. I'm looking forward to going back to the Cape in the fall and playing there again!

Unfortunately, our experience at the course started off on the wrong foot due to the front desk staff. The woman checking us in — I believe her name was Barb — was extremely rude and dismissive from the moment we arrived. We were polite and simply trying to confirm our tee time, but she acted as if we were a burden. She was very belittling and carried a condescending tone throughout the interaction as well. It honestly felt like we were unwelcome guests instead of paying customers. The course itself may be great, but first impressions matter, and her attitude set a really negative tone for th…

Nice layout but $60.00 for nine holes TOTALLY OVERPRICED. Pro shop staff when asked a simple question was rude and demeaning

I was looking forward to a fun day at the course but I must of ran into the “Barb” that Steve mentioned in a previous review. She wasn’t the person helping me, but she kept butting into my conversation with the other person at counter. She was rude, kept interrupting my conversation with the other staff member and talking down to me for asking questions. I decided to cancel my reservation. She definitely doesn’t help sell you anything additional. We are only one group, but we’re planning on golf range, pro shop purchases, round of golf, cart rental, lunch & drinks. Found another course 10 mins…

Honestly this course is 5 stars, but until management gets rid of the extremely rude old lady at bayberry with the grey hair and glasses, it will always put a bad taste in customers mouth, she is so mean to everyone and usually isn't thinking straight when explaining things to people. Dennis and Ian, you're going to lose a lot of customers if you keep this lady working the front desk. Look at the other reviews saying the same thing.

Course was in great shape but greens were just air rated. The reason for 2 ⭐️ is because the lady checking us in was rude and argumentative. We had one of our foursome back out the very last minute and she berated us because we did not have a forth player. I would not return to this course solely because of her.

This course is beautiful! Lush green grass surrounds every green, t-box and fairway. I never found a difficult lie. It's very well maintained and has some challenging holes. Pro shop people were friendly and welcoming. Price was very good for such a great golf course.

Played 9 on the links course today and it was really enjoyable. Teed off just after 9 and pace of play was great (seemed busier/maybe slower behind us). The course is in phenomenal shape from tee to green and is beautifully lined with feskew and wild flowers. As is common with links golf, there were a good number of blind shots that were a little tricky to navigate but this was fun. Good value for the money and great overall facilities.
