In summary

Bayou Din Golf Club is appreciated for its laid-back atmosphere, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff, with many golfers enjoying the course's wide fairways and unique island greens. The course is generally well-maintained, though some visitors note that the greens can be hard or bumpy. However, there are recurring complaints about slow pace of play, course marshals' attitudes, and the need for better course management and maintenance.

I went there since my company is sponsoring a golf tournament and i am cooking for the players and when i went to the clubhouse i admit i kinda look like i just came from the kitchen because i have my apron on and I'm wearing crocs. I asked the guy who's manning the clubhouse for a used golf clubs so i can buy some for practicing at home and he told me that they're just on the corner. So, I did find them but I found some new ones too and asked him if they are selling them. That sales guy looked at me from head to toe and told me yes they are selling them but they are expensive! I felt the tone…

Love Bayou Din, course isn't top notch but it's laid back and mostly wide open for bad shots, fun Island greens, and some sharp doglegs that are drivable if your brave enough, also no sand traps to speak of so fairly easy course but still challenging and fun but leave the sand wedge at home. My weekend favorite for the price.

Played the course on April 13th. Very well kept and enjoyed it. Price was great for 18 holes. The only issue is the greens are hard but you play the course. They also charged my credit card twice but made it right as soon as I caught it. Great course and great employees.

Left after 9 due to no regulation for pace of play groups hitting upon groups with no care. To top things off had kids just driving carts across fairways as if they are the only group out.

Started playing golf again after 18yr break because of cancer. Bayou Din is in the best shape I’ve ever seen. Enjoy playing with my friends here. Keep up the great job. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

The Course Marshal was so rude and disrespectful. The tone he used with us was bitter and unwelcoming, made us feel like we didn’t belong at all. He was mad because we had NEW golfers with us and were playing a little slowly but the only people we had behind us we let play through… The course is very poorly taken care of anyways and just overall the worst golf experience I’ve had.

This place is good to play on the weekend. Don’t go on the week days. They have a groundskeeper that is an unpleasant individual. Seamed like he was at every hole we got to. If someone was on the green and you were on the next tee. He’s was telling us to pick it up, that we were holding up the course. He was rude. Probably my last time playing here.

It’s a fun course but their just not making the money that’s needed to improve the greens. I would play there more often if they did something about the slow play. It’s not that it’s always bad, it’s just that they do nothing about it, even if you complain. They will leave singles and doubles stuck behind foursomes and fives All day long and never say a word, that happens a lot. Other than that it’s a decent course away from town.

This is a fun course with low difficulty - minus a few small greens on the back nine. The greens could use some work - they are a bit bumpy and slow. I also don't think the cups are being changed as often as they should be. However, the staff is always very friendly and professional.

Not sure what was bumpier... the fairway or the driveway to the clubhouse. We really enjoyed the ranger spectating our first 5 holes! Unpleasant to have him breathing down your neck while trying to enjoy being bad at golf. We made the best of it, but for the price, not worth being stalked.

Only played the front 9, bought some new irons, wanted to try them out, enjoyed the course, cart path only, was still pretty wet in some places on the fairway. Greens are a little off, but being winter has alot to do with that. Will be back again!

First time here. Good course. Traveling from Louisiana. Glad we stopped here. Always looking for a good course in Beaumont for the money and I think we found it. Nice club house. large dressing room. Few alligators to see during the round. Would play again.
