In summary

Bedford Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its unique nine-hole layout and affordable pricing, with several visitors noting the course's good condition and friendly staff. However, there are consistent criticisms regarding the owner's behavior, with multiple reports of unprofessional interactions, particularly with newer players and those with children. Additionally, some reviews mention the greens needing improvement and the course being overpriced for the experience offered.

I liked the 9 hole layout and that the holes are completely separate from each other. The greens were firm (hardly a ball mark to repair on approach shots) and some were very undulating. I'd be surprised if there were many places to put the pins on some holes. Many of the greens were in good condition, but some had some damage. The price was very good ($15 to walk). I would play it again.

Have played here regularly as a member (at least 3 times a week for four seasons) and have only had excellent experiences. Course is very well kept and staff has been very accommodating re my early start times. I've played golf for a long time at courses around the country. This is a gem. Not many of these still around.

Extremely disappointed with how the owner acted this morning 8/29/2024 to myself and children, during a work Golf outing. I love taking my children golfing and the owner was extremely rude about allowing my children on the course. He walked out while I was putting my children (who go golfing all the time and know proper golf etiquette) in the cart. Owner walks out and states repeatedly "this isn't going to work". I then replied are you asking me to leave? and the owner then says this isn't going to work and walks away.. I ended up leaving due to the scene he made in front of my coworkers and c…

Wonderful experience! My son and I golfed today for the first time ever! An employee from the golf shop gave us golf tips and helped us out with our swings, before sending us on our way. He truly set us up to have a great first golfing experience. We will never forget the kindness that he showed to us. As this was our first time golfing, we have nothing to compare the course to. Nice course and we had such a great time! Will definitely go back!

The course is not bad but the owner drove out on the course and started screaming profanities at my friends and I for taking too long. We are new players and our pace wasn’t awful we weren’t holding any other golfers up. We actually let them play through which is why we were a bit slower than normal. He was rude right out the gate as soon as we walked through the door. I will never go there again and I suggest you avoid this place too. There’s tons of golf courses around that are much better kept and much friendlier.

great course, However the greens keeper / owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, dropped F bombs at me and my friends for taking too long meanwhile they forced us to walk and not take carts. No one was behind us for 4 holes. No reason to harass customers. Will not go back ever simply for the reason that the owner was the most unprofessional l person i've ever met.

Fun little 9 hole course. Very inexpensive greens fees and an easy course for novice and kid golfers alike. The staff in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful setting us up. My kids and I had lots of fun here!

This course is great if you’re ever around Sackets or Henderson harbor. It’s normally not busy, and it’s in good condition. The owners are very nice, so the bad reviews seem kind of suspect, and then the course itself is built on a very sandy area, so some of the fairway can be sandy, which might be why there’s bad reviews in the course quality. The reason I give it five stars is because the other local course, Adams country club, has given me some of the worst experiences of my life - ruined tee boxes, chunked greens, and backups 5 groups deep. Compared to that place, this course is amazing.

4 stars for course -10 stars for ownership. Very rude of the owner to accuse me and my party of playing 18 holes when we were on our 9th(we only payed for 9). We are new players that have only been playing for 2 months. This is our 3rd time on a course so it takes us longer to play than normal people. Anyway the course was good we enjoyed playing untill the owner came out with his dog yelling at us to hurry up. Will not be going here again.

Don't come here. We were playing respectful golf at a good pace and the owner was driving around harassing us the entire time. He made it a point to tell us that he didn't need to babysit adults. The issue is that he judged us the second he saw us because we were a big group of young guys. Not only that they were rude when I called the day before to give them a heads up that we were coming with a big group. Poorly run business. Take your money elsewhere there's better places to play.

Almost every time the owner and owners son have been rude to patrons. Why is this? I see others had the same experience. Do they not need money to keep their course going? Turning away people that want to pay because they are "tired" and "no tee times given at 5:00 on when they are open until 6:00!!! And the old owner follows you around with his pit bull harassing you.

The owner is completely rude and unprofessional! His son told our group to start on hole 5 so we did. When we got back to hole 1, he immediately came out yelling at us and even went as far as to put his hand on someone in our group. Once he found out it was his son that told us to do that, he still tried to defend his actions and didn’t apologize. When we asked for our money back or gift certificate for a round of golf, he said we’re not getting anything. I would avoid this place at all cost. Not only is the owner disrespectful to his customers but the place is a dump and overpriced. Take your…
