Beechwood Golf and Country Club

My husband & I recently just got married at Beechwood back in November of 2024. The reception space was absolutely gorgeous & everything we wanted for our wedding, the lighting really just set the tone for the night. Elsie was extremely helpful in making sure our wedding was everything we imagined & more, whether it was picking the right centre pieces or setting up our dessert station just the way we envisioned. The food was delicious & we had so many guests compliment it after the meal was finished!

Our wedding at Beechwood Golf and Social House was an absolute dream. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, and the venue itself is truly stunning. Our outdoor ceremony had a beautiful backdrop of the golf course, and the reception spaces were perfectly set up for guests to enjoy both indoors and out. Where to begin…Rob and Elsie at Beechwood were our saving grace after our previous venue had burned down 7 weeks before our wedding. We felt so hopeless but they came to our rescue and were so kind and professional. Rob bent over backwards to accommodate us on such short notice, and they both made sure our wedding day was absolutely wonderful. Course is in terrible condition. Always under repair, the carts barely work (gas carts). Lady said burgers are home made. Not the ones that we got at the spring tournament. The price we paid for the conditions, snack, and mediocre prizes they had... not worth it. Plus, theres not enough parking for the amount of people they sign up for these tournaments and otherwise.

Staff was very nice. Course layout was good with lots of mature trees and some rolling hills. Maintenance could have been better especially the bunkers. I could tell that this course had been drying out over the summer but the fairways are coming nicely. I really enjoyed holes 3, 4 and 5. On the back 9 I like the 11th, 12th, and 16th (even though the drive was blind). Green of the 18 had a big swale in the middle of it. I loved it!

Great day of golf with friends. The greens are being repaired and you can see the location is in need of some love. However if you want an affordable day of golf and staff that are extremely friendly and helpful. This is the right spot. They had a hell of a deal on golf and a 3 course meal for $39. You seriously can't beat that. The 9th hole shoots right to the clubhouse so if your not that great (like me). Be careful!!! Not to much water to lose your balls in and I can say overall a fun enjoyable course to spend the day.

I used to enjoy dining at Beechwood after a round of golf, however the new bar management talks horribly about staff and clientele behind their backs, and she puts more drinks on my tab than what I've ordered. This isn't a one time thing unfortunately and it's too bad Beechwood isn't how it was a few years ago.

Course was in bad condition (muddy, holes everywhere) greens were covered in goose poop, garbage everywhere, ponds and rivers smelt really bad, and most grass was in such rough shape I lost some balls I shot onto the fairway. Carts were falling apart and rattling like crazy, the paths were covered in pot holes and the signs were confusing. Staff were almost rude and didn’t really look happy to be there. Felt like a sub par golf course and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Save your money…A real disappointment ! I have been a fan and promoter of Beechwood for many, many years. Returned today after missing last season and unfortunately the course has gone significantly downhill. Whoever owns Beechwood should take a ride around the course and get their eyes opened to the numerous obvious issues. Cartpaths are a mess…fairways and greens are below standard…ALL traps are a disaster (as per pic)…a poor overall experience. Thank you to Enzo and the team for a wonderful evening last night for our Christmas Party - the venue was beautifully decorated, the food and service excellent and we were amazed at how well the music from the band sounded - loved it!

Carts were in poor condition, course layout is not great, tee boxes in poor condition. Greens were nice, but willow trees cover half of the fairways on the back 9, punishing good shots.

Great place, food was good. The wedding ceremony and dinner was in the same room. A barn look to the room, and decorated nicely. The chairs were set up for the ceremony, & then we went to a bar/lounge area in the building while they moved a few tables for the dinner.
