Beach Wood Golf Course? Bro… I didn’t just play golf, I experienced a golf spa day for my balls — and I ain’t talking about what you think. The greens? Perfect roll. I swear my ball was whispering ‘finally, someone who respects me’ as it sank into the cup. Ball washers? Cleaned my ball so good I thought it might ask for a tip. The fairways were so clean, I half-expected a tiny marching band to follow me with a ‘nice shot!’ banner. Golf carts were on point!! They weren’t too fast, not too slow, basically Goldilocks-level driving comfort. The guy in the pro shop? Chill as a popsicle in Antarcti…

Course is nice…just have to watch out for the ranger and his buddies. Certain individuals who should be more concerned with their cholesterol, rather than pace of play, will call in on you….might I add that these gentleman (hefty folks) will tee off and drop a ball wherever is best in the fairway…these calls about slow play are for a group that finished the round in 4 hours 3 minutes. So play at your own risk.

Course itself is in great shape, greens roll nicely. If you don’t mind people mowing around you 24/7. I had 5 holes where a mower just didn’t shut off his mower and kept going while trying to hit. Other than that very nice.

I enjoy this course when I’m in the area. It’s a fair test to the average golfer. Course is well maintained and the staff is great. A very good price at $59 w cart on weekend

I’d give the course like a 4.5. Visiting from out of town and first time I played it. Course was in great shape, greens, fairways, bunkers and tee boxes (other than 18 tee). 3.5 hour round so can’t beat that. Friendly pro shop staff. Classic layout, mature trees and several ponds could gone in play. Nothing dramatic just interesting enough and solid. Probably best value for the money. Hot deal on golf now for $28 (with cart) so that’s like stealing. Would definitely play again. Only downside is No driving range. Other than that, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in playing the course.

One of the nicest public courses I have ever played. Head golf pro Kyle Cashmere and superintendent Jace Peterson bring the private club experience at a public course price. Just make sure to book your tee time early as the locals all know this is the place to play.

Great staff and wonderful greens. I personally would like to see the fairway grass have a higher density. More blades per square. A fair test. I played on a Monday 11am tee time. Ended up playing 18 alone in 3 hours. I would definitely golf here again.

Course is very nice. Needs a little more greening in the second cut. Seems to be more chickweed than grass. Over all nice. Only complaint was we had a wide open course with people jumping hole to hole. People shooting balls over your head with no verbal warning. Happened twice. People just randomly ahead of us that were not there the previous hole. Other than that I would recommend playing here.

This is a well kept and professionally run public venue that all 7 of our guests, who play what best can be described as elite country club golf; were most impressed with. The course is an old school parkland style course and offers enough difficulty to make it both fun and interesting. The greens were near perfect when we visited. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Dollar for dollar a tough deal to beat. Most highly recommend .
