In summary

Michigan City Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and beautiful parkland setting, making it a great value for golfers. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, occasional mismanagement of tee times, and a lack of course marshals to address on-course delays.

Great Course, Great rate, Good condition, we did get behind a group of five with two children who weren't golfing but the group played their own balls so 5 golfers 3 carts and children caught em at the turn . My wife and I were playing a 2 person scramble cuz shes newer to golf, she great off the tee and around the greens mid game needs work..anyway we're 2 people in one cart the group of five looked at us at the turn said nothing at all and stepped onto the tee to continue. We're not confrontational so we went to get a glizzy and use the restroom Just to find out no hot food due to it being f…

The South course is a wonderful, challenging 18 hole course with excellent greens and well trimmed fairways. There are plenty of challenging holes where you're hitting uphill or over water. Not normally too crowded but it can be on the weekends. If it's too busy for me I just play at the North Executive course where you don't need a tee time. Their score cards clearly show the map of the course which you don't often see.

This was our first time playing this course. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pro shop had everything you need to make the day great. The course was in great shape and the price was right. I recommend anyone traveling through northern Indiana/SQ Michigan, to stop and experience this fun, playable track!

It was a disappointing first round. Our cart died twice and we had to go back to exchange it. There was no ranger on the course to move the back ups along so we had a 5+ hour round. There was no cart girl although the calendar outside of the pro shop said Nikki would be around from 9a-3p. Would I drive an hour to golf there again? No.

Green fee’s went up . If you call the pro shop , most of the time nobody answers . The city tournament also increased its price by a lot . New pro or not , it’s sad to see this course go downhill . Customer service is everything in this industry. If you look online , almost all the tee times are available . Not surprising, but still disappointing for what is was in previous years . Make the 20 min drive to Beechwood instead . Better pricing, service , and course conditions.

Nice for a public course. The back has some hills and valleys. I would or will play this course again.

One of my favorite courses in Indiana. Played today and the course was in stellar condition. Beautifully maintained fairways and the greens were just about immaculate. The only issue would be the same at most public courses is that the bunkers don’t get a whole lot of attention, seemingly more dirt than sand, but not really anything out of the ordinary. Just stay out of them.

The Marshall at this course was one of the rudest individuals I've ever met at a course. He came by many times over and told us to do a scramble and or play from the gold tees as we were holding up the entire course. We were a group of four playing with decent pace after teeing off at 6am. The course itself was in great shape and the clubhouse staff was very nice. That alone saved this from being a one star review.

Played this course while visiting. The south course was packed so I went over to the North course and could not believe how great the course was for just $15. There’s a combination of par four and threes but whole number nine is a very challenging, beautiful hole. Course was in great shape and the scenery was great. Will definitely come back.

Played few weeks back and it's a shame I can only give 5 stars. Usually when you say a course is a great value, you expect it to be a bit rough around the edges. Not here. This was probably one of the greatest values in golf I've had in almost 20 yrs of playing. Course was in excellent condition - especially for the time of year. Greens rolled true and were a bit faster than what you'd see at course of comparable price. Fairways were in excellent condition. Also a beautiful course to walk - countless massive oak and walnut trees. The course itself offered a great mix of holes - several risk/re…
