Benona Shores Golf Course

Absolutely incredible course. Very beautiful, short & fun course. This is my family’s & mine favorite & 1st choice course to all go together! 🥰

Beautiful, unique and incredibly affordable. One of those courses that you just feel lucky to play. Greens are immaculate, staff are very friendly, I can’t say enough good about Benona and their sister course Oceana.

Benona Shores Golf course is a beautiful, well maintained executive golf course. Very reasonable prices. Clean facilities. Clubhouse was very modern and professional looking inside with everything from shoes to beverages available. Friendly, helpful staff on hand to answer any questions. And ice cold PBR. Can't miss.

Absolutely beautiful course with gentle breezes from Lake Michigan. Great Par three course with plenty of hills and beautiful orchards.

First time golfing there. Really liked it! A lot of Par 3's. Veronica was awesome in the Pro Shop, too!

Outstanding course, lots of fun. Easy to walk but challenging to play. Will make the drive back up!

Course is well maintained and carts are new and clean. Staff are friendly with the exception of the ranger, which unfortunately ruined my experience golfing here. He's power hungry, sets his own rules and is very rude. My group wasn't particularly amazing at golf so we were playing a scramble. We kept eyes out to make sure we weren't holding anyone up but the ranger was insistent that we had to split our group or be kicked out. Once split he proceeded to follow us from hole 11 - 18. As always, a very scenic course and in very good condition. Very hilly and the putting greens are a real challenge, but that's why we go there! 😭

The course itself is very well kept and challenging. However the ranger is very hounding on groups over pace of play. We had a bigger group split into 2 groups. We were delayed starting because the group in front of us was late. This meant we had a group right up on us from the start. We were playing as quickly as our skill level allowed. The ranger approached us multiple times telling us to pick up the pace, that there were holes open ahead of us. We were not moving slowly at all, just not great golfers. We were told on the 9th hole that we would be refunded for half of a round and told to le…

Course was cool! Super slow, so we decided to do 9. They wouldn’t refund us for it. They also double booked a tee time, to which we are glad it was our friends that booked it.

My husband & I like this course and have golfed here often however, after finishing only 4 of our 18 holes it unexpectedly started raining hard and temps dropped. Benona shores DOES NOT give refunds or rain checks! This is not indicated on their website. Paid $98 for two 18 hole rounds. Be aware of Benona’s No Refund/No Raincheck and No Apology Policy. Very disappointed and will rethink our choice of courses in the future.

The course is in great shape and beautifully views. It's hilly and challenging but fun
