In summary

Bent Pine Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable pricing, and improved course conditions under new ownership. The course layout offers a mix of challenges suitable for various skill levels, with several events and outings enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with the greens' condition, occasional maintenance disruptions, and inconsistencies in course etiquette.

Some will complain about greens conditions, but they’re doing quite a bit to take care of that. On top of that you’re getting a genuine 18 holes of golf, that’s not going to hurt your pocket. It’s almost like you can enjoy the game without being pissed off you spent $50 on a round.

Price not consistent with the quality. It was insanely expensive at $18 for one rider. You have to pick up your own range balls on the range. Plus our golf cart ran out of gas halfway through. Greens are also in rough shape. Staff was super friendly though.

Fun course. Had my overall high score, first par 4 and first birdie ever first time there. No complaints. Some holes are easy some are insanely hard.

Fun course, wonderful staff. Plenty of events/outings hosted. Many upgrades in recent years, grounds are always in great condition. What more could you ask for?! I’d recommend without hesitation. Check it out!

Great place to golf. Friendly staff and COLD drinks. I love that. Greens were in bad shape. Not all but a few. Good repair job though. I enjoyed myself today. I shot an 85. Pretty good for an older broken down 65 year old I guess. Come out and play you'll enjoy yourself

Great course, especially for those looking to not feel rushed along with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff in the club house and player alike are kind and helpful (even if you shank the ball on the other’s fairway lol). Front 9 is fun and the back 9 provides a challenge. I will definitely return. My new favorite course in town.

My cousin and I played golf for the first time there and enjoyed it for the most part. Here is why we gave the course 3 stars. There were a couple of greens that needed some work. There were some bare spots. Also, the rough could be cut down somewhat. Now here is our issues that have no bearing whatsoever on the course. People don’t know course etiquette we were held up on 7 of the nine holes on the back nine. Where was someone to fix that problem? Overall the value was fantastic. We would play again hopefully proper etiquette will prevail!!!!

This is a fun and affordable course. The course can be a little saucy on the outer edges after rain. It has some challenging hazards. It was not all that busy, so we never felt rushed.

New owners have really improved the course. I've been coming here for over 30 years and have never seen it this nice. The greens are beautiful, nicest I've seen in West Michigan in the past 3 yrs. The cart path bumps have been filled in and the rough is in the same condition the fairway used to be. The course is gorgeous and the prices have actually decreased since last season. They also offer veteran, student, educator, and senior citizen discounts. Drinks are very reasonably priced (most expensive option is $5.00). Absolutely would recommend.

Left my rangefinder magnetized to one of the carts. Call a few days in a row to finally have someone answer the phone and tell me my bright pink easily recognizable rangefinder is nowhere to be found. So either they don’t clean the carts effectively after each use or the staff steals what the find in the carts and whatever they don’t want they put in the “lost and found”. Super sucky situation, I should of kept better tabs on my new toy but would of thought it would of been found and returned but guess not.

We just had a small outing there yesterday. The course was in great shape, and all went really well. Heather and Kurt went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we were all set and taken care of. The personal service was outstanding, and I would highly recommend utilizing the course and the facility. A lot of us, even though we are local, had never played the course, and the major majority of opinion was very favorable. We will be back, and I know many of us talked about just coming down and playing more too....Thank you again to Bent Pine

Visited for the first time on Memorial Day. The price was a great deal that our group couldn't pass up. The staff was friendly and easy to deal with. The course left a little to be desired. The past few weeks have been extremely rainy, so it's understandable for the course to be soggy, but it felt like playing through a swamp. I did like the mixture of short and long holes, but it was difficult to play through the mud. There were dandelions everywhere making it difficult to spot your ball. Some of the mowing, or lack there of, was interesting. The sides of quite a few greens were very thick wi…
