In summary

Chase Hammond Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained layout, with lush fairways and challenging greens set among a picturesque forested environment. The staff is often noted for being friendly and accommodating, and the course offers appealing amenities such as a cozy pro shop, a full bar, and reasonable rates, particularly for seniors. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the presence of poison ivy, occasional issues with tee time management, and uneven tee boxes, which can affect the overall playing experience.

Pretty course. Greens were fast and challenging. Nice fairways. Senior tee boxes were not great, very unlevel. Staff friendly.

Chase Hammond golf course is beautiful, lush and fun to play. The staff is very friendly and accommodating ! Seniors get a discount which they offer readily. A full bar is available with free coolers for your convenience to take out on your cart ! The $3 hot dogs are huge and tasty. The pro shop is cozy and quaint . There is a large seating area to relax in and have a few chuckles with friends after the round. The course is challenging enough with many par 5 holes and a few par 3 sprinkled in for fun ! Porta pottys are conveniently located and the grounds are very well groomed! So grab your cl…

WARNING- this course has ALOT of poison ivy!! Even next to/on cart paths. My group left several balls in the rough rather than walking through POISON IVY. It is a beautiful course- just be cautious if you are sensitive to that like I am

Course is in great condition, avoid guy at the pro shop, showed up 25 minutes early and was treated like an inconvenience

Great, challenging track and in very good shape. Played here 4 times in one week when I was visiting family. Great value as well. Did have one morning where we had an early tee time but didn't know there was a league playing so we got held up at the start. Should have had those times blocked out but other than that no issues at all. Will be back to play more. UPDATE: Still playing this course a ton. Fun, good value, and enjoyable. Lots of trees so hit it straight

It's a beautiful fun golf course but rates are too high for me. Seems like most golf courses are raising rates every year. I'm a duffer who doesn't want to pay alot so I will play at the cheaper courses. Unfortunately there are not very many thanks to this ridiculous inflation 🙄

The course is in great shape. The new management is doing a great job. Tee to green looks great the greens are on the slow side, but they're smooth. The course is tight, but fair. Leave your driver in the bag on most holes. Overall you will enjoy your round. .

The greens and fairways were flawless. Everything was clean. Great wildlife. Lots of birds. Bugs were out but they offered bug spray in the clubhouse. The customer service was awesome. They have a good Bloody Mary. Chipping green and driving range available. Nice carts. Nothing bad to say at all.

On the good side...course layout was pretty as it is cut through thick trees. Many holes isolated from others. Very narrow fairways. Greens were not in the best shape and the fairways were a bit shaggy. On the bad side...we had a 7:30AM tee time but the course had not opened yet. Manager on duty finally showed up at 7:40. Now, I realize that courses have 9 hole leagues during the weekdays. It would have been nice if the manager had given us a heads up that we'd be making the turn right in the middle of a ladies league. Maybe recommend playing the back 9 first would have been better. More on…
