In summary

Birck Boilermaker Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained courses, challenging layouts, and friendly staff, making it a standout facility in Greater Lafayette. The Kampen and Ackerman courses, designed by Pete Dye, offer a visually impressive and rigorous golfing experience. However, some visitors express concerns about high prices, limited parking, and inconsistent customer service, as well as issues with cart restrictions and driving range management.

The only thing bad to say about this whole multi golf course, driving range, practice putting green, pro shop, restaurant was they need maybe double or triple the parking spaces.... Great service... Played the Kampen - Cosler course for my first trip here, great layout by the man Pete Dye!!!! Pretty generous off the tee boxes overall but if you miss in the wrong areas it'll get brutal real quick, heather native grass with pot bunkers and skinny winding bunkers are almost in play on every hole, then approach shots to decent sized greens with plenty of shelves for pin options, run off areas are…

Beautiful course. Too expensive unless one is affiliated with Purdue. The everyday golfer will probably pass on this links. The driving range is very nice, but when they shut it down to only the artificial surface, that is simply bad management. All the other ranges, reseed worked areas, so they are able to constantly move people to other spots. For several weeks, it's been mats only. So there are better ranges where good golfers (who want to take a divot) can get better practice.

This is the best course in Greater Lafayette. Played a few times this season and the course is always in great shape. Challenging play, but worth it! Oh, and the girl in the clubhouse, Chloe, I believe, is the best attendant I’ve ever experienced. Kind, thoughtful, and so helpful. Great job Purdue!! Boiler Up!!

The course is nice and well maintained. We played Kampen one day and Akerman the next. On Akermen a storm came in after 9 holes. They called us in. We sat and waited for 2 hours and were told we would be able to go out soon. Finally they said the courses were closed except for a group that "paid a lot of money and were from out of state". Granted we used group golfer , but why couldn't we finish our 9 if the other group could go out. Also they had no change to give back on cash purposes. Be advised that if someone who is seen as more valuable than you, will get preferential treatment.

Really great courses there but couldn't find an IU golf shirt anywhere in the pro shop.

For the price, you’d think they’d mow… I guess it was after the junior PGA tournament, but don’t charge full price if the course is destroyed; hundreds of divots everywhere.

Fantastic facility! Took very good care of our group and our charity/business event. The weather made it difficult for the staff, but the course was in great shape. Appreciate their effort and will be back for sure. Pro shop is also great!

For almost $100 a round, you might want to put actual sand in the bunkers. It was like concrete. Also state where carts can and cant go. And they wouldn't accept cash for golf payment. Overpriced unless you can get a deal. Updated May 12, 2023. Student rates are $78 on Fridays. Wow. Not worth it considering part of the course is torn up due to construction. Way overpriced. Glad our time at purdue is done. Used to be worth the money. Not any more

Excellent facility. We played the Pete Dye designed Kampen course which was visually impressive as well as being a very good test of golf. A great morning on the links with good friends.
