The course offers a really enjoyable round with a layout that winds through trees and natural scenery, giving it a peaceful and scenic feel. Fairways are in good condition and the greens roll nicely, though they can be a bit tricky to read. Staff is very welcoming and helpful, which makes the whole experience smooth from check-in to finish. The pace of play was comfortable, and overall the course feels well kept. Definitely a place worth coming back to for a relaxing but challenging round.

My Brother and I had our end of the season golf outing at The Ravines early November. We were both very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the bentgrass turf and the groundskeeping. Holes #12,13,16 & 18 were a blast ! The Pro Shop was closed by the time we finished up and we wanted to thank them for their hospitality and tell them how we were impressed with the quality of the course - at that great price - or any other. We will see you guys early in the spring.( Lafayette thaws out a little earlier than Lake County Indiana.)

Play battleground if you are in the area. The older lady who works the pro shop is extremely disrespectful and arrogant. I can here throughout college and everytime we would go to pay we would be questioned about bringing outside alcohol onto the course and how we need to keep pace of play. They make assumptions based on customer appearance and age, which is is incredibly disrespectful. I’ve played tons of golf courses in my life and have never been treated like this REPEATEDLY at a course. Wont ever be back, the staff at this place is flat out rude and the course condition is average at best.…

Solid golf course that is at a good price. Relatively wide open with a couple tight tee shots.

We played a par three tourney on past Saturday. The price was totally reasonable for round of golf, free bloody Mary's, $1 beers, raffles, chili dogs after with desserts. Weather was perfect, too. This is a really good place to play a round of golf.

Came here to play 18 on a rainy day. When making my tee time over the phone I asked if they were going to stay open after all the rain and they confirmed that they were. When I got there they said that we were still going to play after the storm blew over so we paid and waited. Waited about an hour and we were told cart path only. Perfectly fine. While driving to my first tee shot I was stopped by the ranger and told that the owners have decided to shut the course down. Asked for a refund since I only came here due to them being my only option but she refused and said that I could only get a r…

Overall, the course was in good condition and is very playable. It is a mostly forgivable course when it comes to errant shots although there is some sand, water, and ravines that will come into play. The greens are a little on the fast side, but putting is fairly straightforward with simple and easy to read greens. I would recommend playing here if you're looking for a slightly challenging course that won't make you want to throw your clubs into the nearest pond by the time you finish. 😆

I always have a good time when I play a round at the ravines. Not super expensive and it's a fairly easy course with a few challenging places you can get yourself in to.

Worst golfing experience in my entire career. Greens had multiple divots on the green. Customer service was god-awful, we were on the last hole with plenty of daylight, and they forced us to bring the cart back in and made us walk the last hole. The group in front of us had their cart and got to finish the hole, but we didn't. Green fees were also way too expensive for the quality of course, don’t come here!!!!

Great course. But if you’re looking for a late afternoon round don’t count on it. If you tee off at 4p or later, know you have to be done by 8p or they’ll come around asking for your cart; regardless of what control you have over your rate of play (slow folks in front of you). We were on hole 16 at the mercy of the group in front of us and told we could only finish the next hole. Additionally, tried to get beers at the turn (6:15p on a Saturday) and the ProShop/19th hole was closed. Management needs to rethink their hours or patrons need to rethink their course choices/tee off times here. R

6 of us attempting to do a 3v3 scramble. All of us decent golfers. Played front 9 in 2 hours. No group in front of us or behind. Management ordered us no more than 4 in a group. I’ve played so many scrambles and never had this issue. Especially at a course of this magnitude. Won’t be making a trip back especially after the way we were spoken to.
